Joylife Hotel

The hotel is situated just outside the main village of Sidari and is so peaceful . It is a very short taxi ride (€6) into the ‘*****’ . We had a room overlooking the pristine swimming pool . Sofia and her husband and staff work extremely hard and it shows . Food and drinks were great value. A little gem 😊.

Joy life is a hidden gem! Not going to lie I was wary after reading the reviews but could not ask for anything better. The welcome we got from Sophia was lovely and nothing was too much trouble the whole time of our stay! It’s about 15-20 mins walk from the Sidari ***** but only 6 euros in a taxi, supermarket 2 min walk from the hotel. The pool area is kept immaculately clean and amazing for relaxing around. Snack menu on throughout the day which is handy on those lazy days were you just want to relax and chill. The room was spacious and cleaned regularly. All the staff at joylife was lovely. Cannot wait to return next year!

Another amazing year at JoyLife, this was our 8th year visiting Sofia and Kostas are like our family and their hospitality is beautiful, nothing is ever to much. We travel with a range of different ages from younger children, teens, adults and grandparents and we are always treated with the upmost respect and kindness. I see some bad reviews about sofia and Kostas only liking older couples and not family's with children THAT IS RUBBISH they love children and my children absolutely love them both and are upset when leaving and not being able to see them for another year. The rooms are basic and very clean, we love the rooms and the way we actually feel like we're in Greece with the decor, the rooms are cleaned often and clean towels are brought and beds freshly made. For the people who are saying Sofia and Kostas are rude have clearly been disrespectful to them and their property because in the 8 years we have been coming to this hotel we have never seen any rudeness only love and their hospitality. Always going out of their way to help us with anything and everything. The food is beautiful, not expensive. Sofia and Kostas and all their team work so very hard day in day out to make their guests comfortable and happy, they're all lovely and we can't wait to get back next year. Also would like to mention when checking out - we asked if our little girl who is 2 could still use the pool until we flew which was at 10pm. Sophia told us no, we were not allowed to use the pool at all so our 2 year old had to sit in the heat all day as we couldn’t leave our suitcases anywhere. Nasty nasty lady! Never met such a horrid lady!

Not long been back from a 2 week holiday staying in the joylife. On arrival a lovely ladie called Sofia introduced herself to us and give us a warm welcome. Sofia goes above and beyond for her guests and is a very kind and helpful ladie. Also kostas and the staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel lovely pool area and very clean. The food and snacks are really good and very reasonable prices. When visiting Sidari in the future we will be booking this hotel again. Thank you Leanne O’Malley and family.

I’ve stayed at the Joy life six or so times over a few years. It’s flagged as a small budget family friendly hotel, it’s certainly is exceedingly friendly. Not many hotels introduce you to the current guests The General Manager Sophia is a lovely lady. BUT if you wish to behave like a lout, be disrespectful to her, her staff and other guests, may god help you ! Cleanliness is superb, and Sophia will go out of her way to make your stay a pleasure. An example when we could not get a taxi she arranged for her handyman to run us into town. Breakfast is a must all fresh locally sourced ingredients. Bar over looking the immaculately maintained pool. A few rules about safety around the pool, these are in place to keep you and others safe from slipping over Highly recommended, keep up the great work, Regards David & Penny

Sofia is a horrible horrible person. Almost went out of her way to ruin other people's holiday.. Most people I spoke to around the pool said that exact same thing. Mold in the kitchenette, called itself a hotel, jumped up apartments at best.

I don't recommend to anyone this 'hotel' everything is old, spiders in every corner, mold in the bathroom they use a white spray to cover the mold, please avoid this place, Sofia the 'manager ' not very friendly, bad attitude, swimming pool was OK, accommodation disgusting, fridge smell like a dead body etc... disappointed

If you want to stay somewhere with friendly helpfull staff that make you feel welcome then please don't stay here!!! Location was good just a shame it was ruined by the owner, with worse attitude ever! So thanks to this experience I will probably never return to this resort and certainly never these apartments!!
