I think the hotel was good value for money. We did not expect too much. It is little far away from town and restaurants, but if you have car or scooter no problems.
We just needed a place to sleep and rest. Most of the time is spent out on the island by motorbike.
The rooms were clean, big balcony, refrigerator. No water bottles were provided in room though.
The hotel reception helped us with rent scooter from Anthony rent company. Scooter delivered to hotel in evening ready for next morning adventure.

Absolutely terrible such a rip off male u spend so much money for transport and the hotel food is terrible and the receptionist lady was lying and making me and my family spend so much money and saying that we are lying . I would not come back here again

We stayed here for one week and it was a good choice. The hotel is situated on the main road and there is a bus stop right in front of it. The room was not very big but had a nice balcony. The best thing was the AC as it was very hot outside while we were there. The breakfast is good as well, with multiple choices. But the best thing was the staff - very helpful and friendly. The pool was the biggest surprise, so nice and clean.

Kindest and most generous hotel. Our family was evacuated from northern Corfu and headed south toward Corfu Town. The Sunset hotel had no vacancies but didn’t hesitate to open up the lobby lounge for stranded families. They even provided pastries and coffee in the morning for free. They went above and beyond and showed true Greek hospitality. Despite not staying in a room the lobby entrance and loos that we used were immaculately clean and well presented. Thank you Sunset hotel.

The hotel has some old school charm with decor from yester year.The staff are friendly and welcoming. The room was well furnished and cleaned daily. The buffet breakfast was sufficient and tasty. The hotel has a lovely pool and bar area,which also sells food. The hotel is a ten minute bus ride from Corfu town and the stop is right outside the hotel. We had to leave for the port at 5am on our last day so we forfeited breakfast.It would have been nice to have been offered coffee at least or a breakfast pack to take with us,as other hotels do for their early departing guests . Overall a pleasant stay at Sunset Hotel.

Myself and my wife stayed for 9 nights. The room was clean...and serviced daily. the breakfast was always good and enough choice. The hotel is not a 5 star hotel and the prices they charge are not expectant of this. After reading a few bad points on other reviews (traffic noise etc.) These things are apparent...but not to our discomfort. The location of the hotel is truly amazing if you like to do other things other than just stay in corfu town. The walk to town is about 40 minutes (which we did every day) but there are restaurants and shops all along that dont charge city center prices. If we go back to Cofu we will definitely stay here again. The pool is also a great place to relax...maybe have a drink or 2...

We stayed at the Sunset for 2 nights at the start of our week long tour of the island. Great location just outside Corfu Town with the number 7 service stopping at the door. Very clean and good value for money in my opinion, we also enjoyed the buffet breakfast. If you are on a budget and looking for a base to explore Corfu town, you could do a lot worse than the Sunset.
