Pros- good location ( 10 mins bus journey into Corfu town and old town) 3 Min walk to the beach and aeroplane ***** 5 mins walk to a decent bar with good food. Cons- Initial view of the hotel looked good, until you step through the door. Staff miserable. Hotel rooms small, beds are literally what can be described as desks with sheets, air con didn't work, shower head had no hook, no amenities in room that were described. Bar man looked like he'd been slapped with a fish everyday. Miserable and very sexist. Wouldn't speak to women, snatched things of you, barely even said hello. No entertainment, no music, no ambience about the place at all! Had more interaction with the mozzys than the staff. Several groups getting told off after 10pm for having low music on or chatting and laughing. ( Yet the aeroplanes fly over incredibly loud all through the night and the hotel next door is loud and making noises and have music until 3/4 in the morning) Woke one night to a sauna as bathroom pipe had burst and flooded the bathroom got someone of reception and response was " stay in this room or I guess we can find you another room" another group had altercation with another group and were told it was okay they started being aggressive because they were "paying for drinks" and if they didn't like it they "could always go home". Chef was lovely however can say the same for the food variety or very limited choice. Dont ask for for a spare key card as the cleaners like to take them everyday but don't actually clean your room or change the sheets. ( God forbid if you have medication that needs to be stored in the fridge) Overall disappointing hotel with staff who clearly don't give a crap about there clientel. The best parts were being out of there and meeting new people else where where the locals are absolutely lovely and helpful.

Many of the reviews before me already describe the experience at Hellinis, but there are some positives. Here are some of my pros and cons.. Pros: - lovely location, though quite isolated there’s a lovely beach nearby with a gorgeous monetary, views and a great beach bar. - staff are lovely. We found the barman that everyone twines about to be so lovely, if you just ask him how he is and use basic manners he will chat to you all day! - free flow drinks, not the best quality but we paid less than £1000 for all inclusive (incl flights).. what can you expect? - toastie snacks were lovely. - lovely airport view for plane spotters! - balcony was great! - lovely resident cat! Cons: - room wasn’t the best. Slats in bed broken in one of our beds, beds generally just uncomfy and hard. Shower curtain was dirty (mildew/mould sort of stains). - food was hit and miss. Not a lot of selection, I just had chips and pasta when I could. Breakfasts I stuck to just one thing too. I did try a ‘new thing’ every day - it was never nice (in my experience). - MOSQUITOS! This isn’t exclusive to Hellinis but just beware that they are out in their millions. I was bitten around 50 times, WITH repellent! In summary, we paid a very very budget price so didn’t expect anything fancy, but there certainly are improvements to be made. I wouldn’t personally stay again unless I was looking for a cheap holiday and it was hundreds cheaper than the next cheapest! It does have potential to be lovely though, just needs some refinement.

Honestly don't go by the reviews like I did I was originally really worried about staying here after reading them all! Hotel is lovely and clean staff are really friendly rooms are clean only downside was the shower is really small I'm a really fussy eater but the food was really nice! Plenty to do it the area 5 minuet walk down to the small beach where you can get a boat to mouse island, there is a bus stop literally right out side which yoh can catch the the town 10 minuets away! All in all we have had a lovely stay at this hotel will definitely come back

We arrived 13/10/24 all inclusive had already finished by 10pm which it does state the lady did give us all a drink though.you then have to pay which was fine but the bar does close at 12 midnight my friends weren’t to happy as they do drink.a group of people were told off for laughing they were having fun and weren’t causing any offence to anyone.they told us the barman was the same each night.rooms are basic couple of sockets unusable shower is tiny quite dated.ok for a head down but don’t expect quality.pool is large plenty of sunbeds, barman is a sour face no pleasantries or smiles my friends weren’t wouldn’t go to the bar as she felt she didn’t like asking for a drink even if it was coffee.entrance area is ample plenty seats but need cleaning some areas look ok some are dirty .now the food Jesus it’s awful there’s three or four small serving stations three or four mixed salads rice and pasta and a couple of meats in god knows what dinner opened at 7 we went on the dot all food was cold disgraceful to say just opened.breakfast was eggs undercooked slivers of bacon(cold) omelette cold also fruit and yougurt I have not had any food it’s that bad my friends meat raw , so do not go if you like at least hot food as you’ll be disappointed no toaster no microwave go at your peril

All I can say about this hotel is that is was cleanish!! Food awful wouldn't feed it to an animal!! Staff where diabolical... especially the bar man who I found to be rude and intimidating well he tried to be !! Don't know why he's in that job seems to hate it he's not 1 bit pleasant!!! Seems to dislike everyone 😕 maybe the morgue is a better job for him ..... I'd advise anyone looking for a fun relaxing clean holiday not to go there .... unless u want to loose weight because u can't eat their food or u like to be bitten by bed bugs constantly 🤪 otherwise go anywhere else but here ....

I was dreading coming here after reading the reviews but it’s absolutely fine. Bar staff and restaurant staff are friendly, reception aren’t great but how often do you actually need to speak to them? The hotel itself could probably do with a little tlc but it’s perfectly acceptable. The food is good, the big problem (not for me but for others potentially ) is that the food is Greek local cuisine. I love Greek food but others may not so would struggle to eat potentially. There is a varied menu for each meal each day which changes. Lots of lovely salads, small desert choice and ice cream. The bar choice is limited and the cocktails are made with soft drinks rather than fruit juice but not sure if that’s a thing all the time because the barman kept saying supplies were coming but then never seemed too arrive. The snack bar wasn’t open, at all which was disappointing (and therefore made it full board rather than all inclusive in my opinion) The pool area is lovely, watch the sun beds though as some need replacing. The main complaint would be the noise (I am so surprised that the other reviews don’t make more of this) you are right next to the airport, I can literally see the run way from my balcony. Fun for spotting planes but not great for relaxing/sleeping. They do eventually stop at night but quite late so you do get some sleep. Short walk to the local beach, some nice restaurants nearby (short walk but up a steep hill) and bus stop just across the road to get into Corfu town.

This was my partners first holiday outside the U.K. and what a massive disappointment. Double room booked had 2 single beds. Hotel was dirty the food was absolutely vile we both ended up being ill vomiting for 2 days. All the internet information regarding this hotel is false advertising. Go at your own peril the young barman was lovely the other was so miserable and he is training for assistant manager.!!! We would definitely visit Corfu again but never at this hotel. It is very dated. The only bar snacks are toasties the music is on repeat there is no poolside bar it is just a storage hut. The pool is freezing and shuts at 7pm and if you appear to be enjoying yourself after 10pm your scolded like a child.
