Made a reservation and when we arrived on time but there restaurant was full and they sent us away. The reservation was made by The Fork. Awful experience. We said we could wait but no chance. Hope other have better experience. They said they tried to contact us but I received no call

It is a historical venue with character and a beautiful courtyard. The rooms as spacious but old outfitted. Parking is outside exposed to the elements, and the restaurant is not always opened. The staff speaks several languages, the breakfast is abundant, and the location is ideal to reach the town center and walk in the woods. It is a good place but not one I would necessary choose above other options

The hotel is not inside the castle, but it is at the other end of the road. Rooms are clean, but outdated and come with a bit of a stale smell. This has probably to do with the lack of proper ventilation or AC. Personnel is quite friendly and rooms are equipped with a Nespresso machine.

I have slept in the past and that was fine. Unfortunately, this time I had several unpleasant experiences that will definitely not make me return any time soon. Made a reservation with a Social Deal voucher, but upon arrival I had to pay an additional reservation fee (5€), which was literally not mentioned anywhere (not even in the confirmation or conditions). Had to pay or I didn't get the key. After contacting the head office, it turned out that I was right and I got my money back. The tone was set by the, in my opinion, unfriendly way in which the receptionist handled this, and not in a positive sense. Stayed 2 nights, on day 2 in the morning at 8:45 am asked to refill soap because it was empty, after returning at 5 pm the soap had not been refilled and the jerry can with soap was in the sink. Soap could no longer be refilled, so we kept the jerry can. What was supposed to be a relaxing trip turned out to be far from it (due to these experiences). Room was dated, bathroom reasonable but noisy.
