Hotels in Central Athens

"The hotel is nice and clean, in a run down part of town but easy to commute to most attractions. Family suit had enough room for a family of four. Breakfast is fine, but lucks variety - same selection everyday.  Wasn’t best pleased to be charged €2.50 per tea bag, these things are in the room in other 4* hotels. Nikos was amazing at reception, very much well-coming  and his suggestions for restaurants and Island visit was much appreciated, thanks!"

"I was worried because I'd heard it was a dangerous area near Omonia, but the proximity to the subway station meant there wasn't much danger. In fact, the proximity to the subway station made it convenient and convenient. The cleanliness was good for the price, but the coffee pot was extremely dirty. Also, even though I stayed for five days, I had to pay for cleaning service, and I was charged an extra €6 for towel refills. The reception staff was friendly."

"The place is perfect with just walking distance of less than 10mins you’ll get to Monastiraki station also the area, or Omonia station. Nearby are all restaurants and shops, there’s one supermarket just next to the corner where you can get 1l mineral water for just under 1€, the receptionist told me tap water is free to drink but I just prefer bottled water. There’re two small balconies on level 6&7 that you’d be able to get a good area view but not the Acropolis cause it’s been blocked by other buildings. They don’t provide free towel or slippers, no shampoos either in the bathroom. There’s locker in the room offered for each of us with lock. Bathrooms considered clean but a bit tight and no space to put your clothes towel or toiletries, there’s a place to hook inside but the hook got wayy high up definitely not for someone short like me (160cm) and there’s also one hook outside of the bathroom, slight inconvenient there. Water pressure is strong and there’s hot water."

"We stayed here for a short city break and found the hotel to be basic but clean — for the price, we really couldn’t complain. The highlight was definitely the pool area and rooftop bar, which were perfect for relaxing in the afternoon after a morning of sightseeing. The surrounding area wasn’t the most picturesque, but this seemed fairly typical across Athens until you reached the more touristy parts near the Acropolis. That said, I always felt safe walking around. The main attractions were about a 30-minute walk away, or just a £5 Uber ride. There was a metro station close by, though we didn’t end up using it. Overall, a solid budget-friendly option with great rooftop views and a laid-back vibe."

"We had an incredible stay at Acropolis Magenta Luxury Suites! The staff was extremely attentive and made our check-in extra special by surprising us with champagne for my girlfriend’s birthday. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the area, and everything was spotless. The service was outstanding, and the amenities were top-notch. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway"

"Very very good landlord! The whole journey became extraordinarily smooth and warm because of his intentions. The landlord is particularly enthusiastic, not only patiently answering various questions throughout the whole process, but also personally helping us book ferry tickets, making the trip extremely worry-free. On the day of arrival, the landlord was very considerate to let us check in in advance, and allowed us to check out late when we left. This intimateness is really moving. The location of the house is very convenient, and it is very convenient to travel to attractions, supermarkets or restaurants. The house is fully equipped with home appliances. It is very comfortable to live in and has a feeling of ”going home”. The overall environment is clean and tidy, and the details are also very careful. I was really satisfied with this stay. I was lucky to meet such a warm and thoughtful landlord. I will definitely choose this next time I come here! Highly recommend to everyone!"
