The apartment is in an unsafe rundown area of Athens. The complex is outdated and small lift to bring you up to 5th floor where we stayed smelt. The room itself also smelt of old cigarettes and damp. There was a very large ? Water stain on the carpet. Carpet grubby and unclean, afraid to walk on bare feet. Bed was comfortable and apartment spacious. I know the location is not the apartments fault but you need to be aware when booking. There is a metro close by which is good and not far from city. I wouldn't stay again or recommend.

First of all, the location is brilliant, roughly a 20 minute walk to all the major archaeological sites with two ways of getting to them, either down two main roads or if you feel a bit more adventurous, through the small lanes (this way is slightly quicker). There are lots of places open until late to grab snacks and essentials, I would also recommend grill house central just around the corner from the apartment for a good meal. Now to the apartment. When we first got to the apartment building it is all very secure. Our apartment was on the 6th floor and there is a small lift to get you there. The apartment it's self is extremely spacious with a small area at its entrance with a wardrobe and chest of draws. Then the living has more than enough space, there was only two of us but it could easily suit a small family or 3/4 friends. Everything was very clean throughout. The beds are on the larger side and very comfortable. There is a sofa to relax on and the kitchen area can cater for making quick meals. The bathroom is also a good size with the shower also being generous. The people too are very attentive and only a WhatsApp message away. All in all we had a very good stay at the apartment and will definitely be staying here again
