This hotel was the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed in. I can't stress this enough, but cleanliness was not found anywhere I was in this hotel, including the places where food was available like the breakfast room. The problem is, this is the only place to stay inside the park. Don't do it, just get a hotel in nearby Carlyle. This review was for the room, not the cabins you can also rent. I did not see inside of those.

Stayed here before. Beautiful location. Rooms serve the purpose and some could use some upkeep. Clearly they were working short staffed.i am not sure that I have seen a more dedicated staff to deliver the best possible guest experience. It was a full house and they worked hard to make sure everything was on point and they did everything they could as a team to deliver the best guest experience. Hotel was as expected. Service was well above expectations.

I was so excited to visit Kenosee this summer but what a huge disappointment!!!! The hotel is soooooo run down, smelly (like stale smoke and damp old mold) and is nothing like I expected. I wish I would’ve read the reviews on this place before ever booking a room here!!! The rooms are so small and they definitely need a major facelift!!!!

The positive: beautiful views, nice beach and clear water. My meal the first night was delicious, but barely lukewarm. My husband had a burger which, looked homemade but was tasteless. We also waited 50 minutes for our meal and I never received my salad until the meal arrived and I asked for it. Out second night we ordered 7” pizzas. Delicious except my dough was raw in the middle of pizza. The continental breakfast is not great. Nothing hot except waffles and toast. Plastic tables and some were dirty. The side of the mini fridge was disgusting. The whole room was dismal. The hallways are dark, carpet old and a funky smell. The property is not well kept. Junk to the right of the entrance and weedy and unkempt on side of the building. The rooms are dated. Cola or something sprayed on the wall behind lamp. Not sure how long it had been there. The bathroom had been redone, but then painted a different color than the walls and door in the rest of the room. Why not give it all a fresh, matching coat of paint. In general, Kenosee Inn is tired and drab and in serious need of an overall refresh. Definitely not worth the price and definitely would not stay again.

With black mould behind the toilet, soiled towels, no coffee maker or microwave, poor breakfast and high price - I would never recommend Kenosee Inn & Cabins. This is a nice location, but the hotel is badly cared for.

I stayed in a cabin then again at the Inn a couple weeks later. I was very disappointed for the price. The cabin was dirty, freezer was so frosted we couldn't fit our food in. The owner was nice but the man at the front desk was very rude. When staying at the Inn I only showered once because when I did I was scolded twice and had to jump out, my legs were raw and could not go in the sun for the next 2 days( main reason for being there was to hang at the beach) The Inn stunk so bad like must and mold. The first meal at the restaurant was delicious, the second was aweful, don't know if it was a different cook but the bruchetta went from amazing to just soggy bread and tomatoes. All around disappointed, I will never go back or suggest to anyone.

We rented Cabin 11, July 2-5,2023. Super friendly staff working the front desk. Our two bedroom cabin was clean, and included exactly what they mentioned online. We ordered pizza and wings from the restaurant, and the owner even helped carry the pizza to our vehicle. Great location. Food was very good from the restaurant. We will defiantly stay again.

Recently had a meal with my wife at the hotel Restauraunt.We have eaten at the Kabin in previous years and food and service was usually mediocre but not this year. This has been our third meal this season and all have been a good experience. This evening appeared very much as if it would be a slow evening,however within a very short period of time the dining room and outside patio was full.There were three staff members on duty and must say they all work together very efficiently.Service was attentive and polite. We both had pasta dishes.One being a regular Alfredo and the other a feature seafood pasta dish with rose sause.Both dishes were served hot and were of excellent quality. On a previous visit we ordered a pizza which was also of excellent quality. The price is fair for what you get and we will return.

Thanks to all the reviews we came prepared for most problems. We brought our own sheets but the bedding was okay. We used bedding on the furniture as they were old, dirty and stained. A two bedroom cabin would do well with a love seat. Not enough furniture for capacity. We killed around 60 flies while we were there. We assumed it was because of the 1/2 inch gap between the door and the frame. Hopefully that is fixed as mice will easily get in. As mentioned the shower needs to be replaced but the hot water was abundant. The fireplace worked well and let off a good amount of heat. Appliances all worked well and cleaning staff did a good job. It was a tad overpriced for what cabin 14 was offering but if clean furniture/shower were brought in, and a handy man did some much needed repairs, all would be well.
