Super 8 Kenora is the newest lodging in the city boasting clean and friendly guest rooms and superior front desk customer service. We are situated on Tunnel Island on Hwy 17 coming in to Kenora. Lake of the Woods is directly across the street. There are numerous beaches within a 5-10 min drive. Downtown Kenora is just a 10 minute walk away along our beautiful greenbelt.
There are beautiful walking trails right behind the property for our guests to enjoy. Many other attractions are close by including the MS Kenora a 190 passenger cruise ship that takes guests on a glorious tour of Lake of the Woods. Reservations can be made at the front desk. Great shopping can be found in Kenora everything from larger stores to quaint little shops that are unique to the area.
The Lake of the Woods is what Kenora is known for and fishing is in abundance. Super 8 Kenora offers the avid fisherman or first timer fishing packages both in the summer and winter. We can even arrange to have your fresh catch packaged on site.
If hunting is more your style then the Super 8 Kenora can offer you a great time. We offer packages that include storage and abattoirs services.
After your day of shopping sightseeing or exploring come to Caseys Bar and Grill right next door to the property. Caseys is known for great food great service and great fun. They would be happy to do take out or delivery to the front desk.

The front desk service is very enthusiastic, breakfast starts at five in the morning and is very good, suitable for those who need to leave very early.

People in room above me sound like a heard of elephants and the amount of banging and jumping caused my light fixture dome to fall off. I attempted to contact the front desk several times and there was never anyone present. I’m lucky if I got any sleep. Room was clean and warm.

The room above either had the toilet leak, or a pipe burst, but we checked in to a puddle of urine/water all over our counter and bathroom.
Unfortunately for us, we checked in at 1230am, and departed at 5am, so there was "nothing thar could be done as they were sold out".

They were very professional, kind and helpful. 24 hour included tea, coffee and hot chocolate was very appreciated in this cold weather. Lots of variety in included breakfast items also very appreciated. Very pet-friendly too. Kudos to the personability and hospitality of the staff.

I met the most beautiful people staying at the property , they are here not for a vacation or even , they are staying here due to housing shortages in the area and are the most kindest couple and I loved learning about kenora and Ontario from them . We became instant friends and will treasure those moments and I hope to meet them again im the future . The staff are beyond friendly any your love for pets are amazing to us you welcomed them with a little treat and a smile , we loved our short stay here and will definitely be staying here when we return here over the years . My children loved the peace we felt here . Thank you

Comfortable beds
The location is a little out to the way so driving is needed. The restaurant next door is only open from Thursday- Sunday. So if you are looking for meals you have to go further out from Monday- Wednesday.
The facility is clean, and the bed was comfortable. I had several ants in my room - I informed the team and they said they would look into it and I am confident it will be dealt with. The walls are paper-thin - I could hear my neighbours’ conversations, and…their “activities” while I have was in my room.
