Kennett River Family Caravan Park

It is a lovely, well managed park right on the beach. We always rent one of the cabins. They are comfortable, but could do with a bit more attention prior to guest arrival. However, staff are very friendly and helpful and we always enjoy our stay there.

Great little place, full of bird song and pounding surf. Cabins are well maintained and very reasonably priced. Park is beautifully set out and has a very relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended for a weekend away.

Fantastic caravan park with clean amenities in an incredible location! From booking to check out the service was extremely pleasant. Amazing wildlife with endless family activities in the local area. Couldn't recommend higher for a family getaway!

A beautiful spot for families. We had a cabin the first night and powered site the remaining nights. All the facilities are clean and the grounds are really well maintained. The staff are super friendly and happy to have a chat. Everything was great and made our first camping trip as a family a winner

Fabulous campground and experience. Workers in the park were so engaging and thoughtful. Explained that they had 10 koalas in the campground, pointed them out and gave us some koala trivia. Experience of a lifetime when a koala came down a tree and walk right by me as I was sitting in my lawn chair.

This was our first cabin stay at Kennett, normally we have our camp trailer. But this didn't disappoint. Great cosy cabin with all that you need, great for our tribe of 5. Heater worked a treat and everything was fresh and clean. We had an amazing view of the beach and being right next to the road was fine. You didn't even really notice cars driving by. Phone reception is 10/10, better than at home to be honest. The park has had some TLC since we last stayed, new park for the kids, new fences and just areas tidied up. The toilet facilities area now has bistro lighting too, which always makes an area feel so warm and festive. Wildlife a plenty here, another reason why we love it. Kids ticked off all the animals they wanted to see, koala, kangaroos and lots of birds. The beach... wow it never disappoints always so magical and peaceful.

Very friendly helpful staff. Went out of their way to allocate us a great camping spot and made sure we knew about the best local walks and where to find glow worms after dark - a fascinating experience. The facilities are very accommodating and clean

Stayed for one night on a powered site and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Lots of bird life including yellow tailed black cockatoos and blue fairy wrens, and there were koalas right there. So thrilled to see them. The amenities were very good. Nice hot showers.

Been staying here for around 30 years around Australia Day. Has been an up and down ride with flooding, fires & drenching rain at times. Koalas & parrots are cute. Facilities are adequate. Beach is fantastic. The younger vegans are even louder than us oldies, se beware.
