Took 45 minutes to check, room was filthy, only two towels for family of 3, no additional pillows. Internet did not work. Power cut at night which they could not resolve and had no empty rooms so spent night without lighting or entertainment.

There is no parking at this premier inn. They share it with the pub next door, so was full on Sunday when we arrived. People were queued outside trying to get in, waiting in the cold. After checking in discovered the room wasn't made up. Toilet seat was also broken. Went to get some food in the bar next door only to be told that they had stopped serving early. At no point did any of the unhelpful staff apologise or go out of their way to make amends. Terrible terrible terrible

Good nights sleep but poor parking options. Ended up walking around Kendal to find somewhere to park as PremierInn only had space for about 20 cars. Eventually found one across from the shopping center which ended up being way cheaper than PremierInn where charging

I rate Premier Inn highly and this was excellent. 1 towel instead of 2 was easily resolved. Limited parking could have been an issue if we arrived later, and cost another £7 per night. Bar/restaurant opens 6pm, had to change plans. But these were just a few minors, it was above average and I was pleased.

I would like to comment on the helpfulness, kindness and friendliness of three staff members, Hazel and Megan in the restaurant and Rose on reception, they could not have been more willing to help. We were v well looked after. The room was quiet, comfortable and well equipped, a really excellent stay, thank you

Pleasant stay. Room quiet and clean and enough space for our family of 3. Great location for exploring the area and felt safe. Communal areas bit tired and not the cleanest looking, but would recommend this hotel given price point and to use as a base for exploring area. Did the trick.

Free (unasked for!) upgrade to premier plus, usual large super-comfortable bed, lovely toiletries. Will definitely stay again! Staff very welcoming and helpful. Easy to find and very central to downtown Kendal. Excellent find! We will be back!
