Nathan's Lodge

We really enjoyed our stay here. As other reviews state Freeman is the best. Florene provided an excellent meal each evening. The location is amazing with a great white sand beach that is empty most of the time. You have miles of beach to yourself and it provides a feeling of relaxation you simply can't beat. We were made to feel at home no matter where we stopped or who we talked to. We spent lazy days drinking a cold beer, listening to waves and getting a tan. Freeman is around to help with anything you need and give you insights into local culture and the local gossip. We could not have asked for anyone better. The property is clean and well looked after. It is older and fairly basic but we were happy with everything there. If you are looking for luxury or fancy this isn't that place for you. It really has a feel of renting an older cottage at the beach. It is a safe, friendly quiet spot to get away from it all. We hated to leave and will be back.

The team at Nathan’s lodge could not do more for you to make your stay great. Nothing was too much trouble from extra early breakfast to allow an early fishing day to a variety of packed lunches. Very good value for money and the location is right on a beautiful beach, lovely warm water for swimming etc.

My family and I traveled to South Andros and stayed at Nathan’s Lodge. This bed and breakfast was exactly what we needed. We were able to spend quality time together, and the beach was absolutely breathtaking. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such beauty before. While photos might have given us a glimpse, being there in person was an entirely different experience. Our one-year-old son loved spending his days at the beach and the hammock in the backyard. He was thrilled to walk from our room to the restaurant to find his dad. The owner, Nathaniel, was on the property and had engaging conversations with my husband. The food was delicious, and Florene ensured we were well taken care of. We decided to have all our meals on the property during our stay. Freeman checked us in and looked after us, and the entire team catered to our needs without being overbearing, which was perfect for our retreat from the big city. We booked a second stay before we even left. We are looking forward to more sandy toes, relaxation, reading, and quality time with our family!

Great trip! Enjoyed the beach there just a short walk in the backyard and I was in beach heaven . All meals we requested were deli’s the chef took special attention to ensure we enjoyed our meal and our stay! The owners were there and spent a lot of time entertaining over meal times with great conversation. This was a special stay and my family and I will never forget it

Diane and Earl, owners of the property, were extremely hospitable. My guests and I were sitting on the beach under the cabana enjoying the sea breeze, very unexpectedly Diane presented us with ice cream....good touch
