The only reason this hotel got 1 star was due to the weather. On arrival late at nite we were given our room and omg it was awful. It was the smallest room I've ever seen. The shower was pathetic. The balcony was soo small. At reception we were told this was an upgraded room, and as it was so late we would be able to see our economy room the next day, but we're told the economy rooms were not as nice as upgraded room and they were smokey - this was from reception man. So the next day we went bk to reception and we went to view our economy room, expecting it to be awful but no it was perfect. Nice size, great balcony with a great shower. Not any smell of smoke at all. So we were more than happy with our economy room. It's wrong that reception try and get you to upgrade when there's no need. The food - hmm the food was the worst food I've ever had. I'm not picky but I can in all honesty say I've never eaten any food as bad as this. The outside food bar was a nice touch - we lived on salad (there was a lot of salad lol) and chips. The pool area was nice and the pool was amazing... This was cleaned regularly. The staff were all great I wouldn't return here, don't waste your money find a better quality hotel

This was a lovely hotel with lovely staff. The pool area is clean and tidy. The rooms are basic but clean and equipped with everything you need. Nice access to beach area. The only down side is the lack of food for the British market. I hear they are looking at providing more but depends what happens. I enjoy international cuisine but some extra choices would of been highly appreciated. We booked through 'onthebeach' so think there will be a lot more British tourists next year

We stayed at the DG Rose Resort in October 24 for a girls holiday. As our first visit to Turkey we didn't really know what to expect but were really pleasantly surprised! On arrival to the hotel (late in the evening) the reception staff were warm and welcoming and we showed through to the dining area to get something to et before ewe even checked in. Check in was super smooth and staff accompanied to our rooms offering us the option to move into a larger room to all stay together if wanted. On the whole the food at the hotel was good but would recommend the pool bar for breakfast with fresh made omelets and pancakes on offer! The outside area was kept immaculate and was lovely to see the peacocks walking around at breakfast time while drinking a coffee under the shadow of the West Taurus Mountains. Our rooms were simple but spotlessly clean and all amenities worked as they should. I would definitely recommend you try out the patisserie and coffee suite where they serve baked goods, quality coffee and ice cream for a few hours a day - I wished it had been longer! The pools were cleaned daily and we found a second smaller pool at the other side of the gardens which turned out to be a lovely sun trap. There is really good evening entertainment 6 days a week (Monday - Saturday) with really varied dancing, celebrations and DJs available to suit every taste Would we four girls return .... without a doubt! Thank you to all the staff for a lovely stay

My wife and I (Both 47 years old) have just come back from 10 nights in Kemer which is our second visit to Turkey as we did Side last year. I will give an honest review as I can. So lets start with the Pros of the hotel. Close to the beach with own private beach (5 minutes walk max) don't serve Alcohol for free at the beach but soft drinks are free. Two pools although the small second one takes a bit of finding as its hidden at the rear. Separate Patisserie that does nice cakes from 10am till 5pm and amazing ice cream between 15:00-17:00 , the lady working in there is one of the only members of staff that smiles. Cocktails are good (all inclusive) Mini fridge and kettle in your room Safe was free Sun beds have nice padding at the pools and on the beach. Room was basic but clean and cleaned daily Outside seating was good and plenty of it, also nice to be able to eat inside or outside. Free water all over the hotel so once you buy your first bottle from the shop next door just top up. So now for the cons Breakfast is poor if you are English as its all geared around Russians so if you like salad for breakfast you will love it! Only show cooking is at the snack bar and that's very basic and if you don't read this review you wont even know they are cooking as no one tells you. They keep running out of plates and cutlery at meal times The main evening meal time is from 18:30-20:30 but they don't replace the food when it goes so if you get there at say 19:15 you get the left overs. food is 80% salads and 20% meat and is the same day after day. The bar in the restaurant has one staff and you cant help yourself to any soft drinks so the queue is always long Once the desserts are gone they are not often replaced The main entrance door into the hotel didn't work. The staff don't smile and its the first hotel we have stayed in with such miserable staff that we did not tip them! only the lady working in the Patisserie smiled and was nice. The hotel location is close to the beach but not close to any kind of nightlife or even just a few shops and bars. 20 minute walk to Kemer centre and a bit further to the marina. we got a taxi to the marina for 5 Euros which was worth it. The bar ran out of rum, red wine and tonic while we were there, A joke on an all inclusive holiday to be honest. What kind of bar runs out of tonic water!! Other than the bar in the restaurant that's only open at meal times there is only one other bar which is the outside pool bar. Bar kept running out of glasses so I had red wine in every glass including plastic that you can think of. Alcohol stopped at 23:00 (not that it bothered us but most are midnight) snacks once cooked at the snack bar went stone cold, they did not keep anything warm. (although their chips were nice when hot) WIFI not free and to be honest it was not the best signal when sat near the pool (20 euro for 10 nights) Orhan the tour rep is a con man. He says he needs to see you to discuss your transfer home pick

We had a lovely holiday in June 2024 - the hotel itself is gorgeous, you don't feel like you're in a town at all because the gardens are so lovely. The mountains around give you amazing views all round. The bedroom itself was basic but cleaned everyday and had a balcony. We booked with on the beach (British holiday company) and an economy room. All these rooms are on the ground floor. It's not a basement as other people have written, it is just a ground floor! We still had a balcony that looked out onto a grassy verge. This is the same floor as the pool and the restaurant so is actually very convinient. The pool is the perfect size however it could be hard to get a sunbed at peak times. The best time to swim we found was around 4pm. The beach is also great, there's a bit more of a breeze here and slightly easier to get sunbeds! There's a bar on the beach offering self-serve soft drinks. The food was AMAZING! it was probably one of the highlights of our trip. It's different cuisine to England but that's what we loved. We tried new things (Cecil peynir and poğaça rolls) and it was all delicious. there's a meat, fish and veg dish along with something grilled outside for every meal and all the salad, cheese and meat you could want. If you're a picky eater it may not be the hotel for you. Kemer itself is a vibrant town with loads of bar and shops. Its about a 20minute walk or a short uber for about €5. We particular enjoyed the pirate bar! The one downside to our trip wasn't the fault of the hotel at all and instead ours due to poor planning. It reached about 42°C regularly which was just too hot for me and my partner. Luckily the air con was great! The team were really accommodating so hats off to the bar staff, chefs, servers and groundskeepers! The only reason my review is 4 stars and not 5 is that I think the hotels decor could be slightly more modern. The lamp was a bit broken in our room but it didn't impact my holiday at all

Found the DG Hotel Rose Resort in a very cosy location with it's scenic mountain surroundings and very close to the sea with their own private beach a 200 metre walk away from the Hotel.Rooms are basic but are consistently kept clean and tidy, and coupled with the hotel's meticulous upkeep, contribute to its perceived good value. It would be a great idea to have coffee packs amongst the variety of tea bags in the rooms. Lots of amenities, inclusive of reasonable spa services, sparkling pool, bar and entertainment , have called out for consideration the staff's exceptional service. We noticed the hotel to have a large number of Eastern European people in comparison with British folk. The staff are quite friendly and accommodating, but I must pick out two people who were really outstanding. We were thoroughly impressed by the Ice-cream Lady whose customer relations was excellent and she won our hearts with her beaming smile and service. Also not forgetting the manager, Tekin, as usual, always present and pleasant around the Hotel.

The DG Rose Resort Hotel in Kemer offers a pleasant and relaxing stay, ideal for both adult families and couples. The hotel boasts a beautiful location, with picturesque views of the Taurus Mountains. The rooms are basic yet clean and comfortable. The staff at the DG Rose Resort are friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests. The manager, Tekin, is always present around the hotel. He and his staff are very contentious. The area is more popular with Eastern Europeans than currently with British travellers. However, don’t let that put you off. The hotel welcomes British travellers with open arms and are currently in the process of unveiling a more British friendly menu. The all-inclusive dining options provide a variety of Turkish and international dishes, catering to different tastes. If you’re expecting chicken nuggets and a full English breakfast, you’ll be disappointed. Please remember you’re in a more traditional part of Turkey not Marmaris or Bodrum or even the UK! Your limited palate and the propensity to only be surrounded by British holiday-makers is a YOU problem and not the hotels. The hotel features a lovely pool area boasting comfortable sun loungers and easy access to a private beach, making it perfect for those looking to relax by the pool or the sea. Entertainment and activities are well-organised, with something for everyone. The entertainment is not intrusive and still yields to a chilled out atmosphere. Overall, the DG Rose Resort Hotel delivers a relaxing and enjoyable experience, with good value for money. Please note, regrettably, there is a particular type of British visitor especially to this hotel who seems to focus on finding any aspect of fault they can, rather than concentrating on enjoying their holiday.
