Mu Homestay

Mr Mu was very welcoming, from arranging transfer from airport, to physically welcome, with friendly smiles and chats. The room was huge, with nice big balcony upstairs, overlooking the padi fields. Took the guided tour and it was quite interesting learning on cultures and local practises, while enjoying peaceful padi fields settings.

Incredible Homestay with Mr. Mu and his family + team! If you want to experience Lombok rural life and a scenic location, go here. Small scale resort with a family atmosphere. Comfortable villas with A/C, a causy open dining space next to the kitchen where they prepare your Indinesian/Lombok meal. Join the guided tour through the rice fields, the waterfall(!!) and the monkey forest. All authentic and small scale. 2 nights and 1 full day is my recommendation. You won't forget this wonderful experience.

Wonderful, memorable homestay! Mu is a teacher by training and he took us on an unforgettable trail threading through rice paddies along a valley ridge to a waterfall and the monkey forest. All the way he pointed out plants and trees, explaining how the village manages their irrigation and education. Mu and his family served us delicious local food and plenty of it, including a large breakfast and good strong coffee as well as dinner. The villa was spotless with a great appealing bathroom and plenty hot water. What stands out is the exceptional personal service, memorable & informative tour, generous food and assistance with whatever was needed. Mu is a warm, hardworking & thoughtful man. He & his family genuinely love having guests and take pride in their homestay.

Two days at Mu homestay were unforgettable. Mu and his family are the warmest and kindest people I met in Lombok. Mu took me on a great tour to waterfalls and ricefields and showed me everything about his culture, from a traditional wedding to the processs of making coffee and rice. Thanks for everything Mu, you are the best!
