Riverine Garden Hotel

Stayed for one night after our trip to Pulau Redang; took the cheapest room without windows and was pleasantly surprised how large and spacious the room was, although sp****ly furnished. No kettle was provided but there was a hot and cold water dispenser outside the room. Bathroom was the ‘wet’ type but the rain shower was simply awesome! Location was convenient - with the popular Hai Peng Kopitiam ( sister branch) and seafood restaurants practically next door. The river is just across the road . Parking is not provided but there are ample public parking spaces around ( just buy the parking coupons from the nearby shops). Overall, a good place for a short stay.
Kertih Damansara Inn

Booked this place for a stop over before proceeding up north the next day, location to this so call Inn is a bit too far out to any facilities shops eateries are quite far out into the town. The Inn is design by converting a double story house into multiple rooms averaging to 6 rooms to each unit block. Each room design comes with its en-suite bathroom which you don’t share with others. There is no toiletries provided only basic towel & toilet paper. No mini bar or bottle water/tea coffee facilities but the inn provide standalone water filter dispensers. As the inns is located outskirts area - do expect Mosquito everywhere. Would I return here …..
Hotel Seri Geliga

I was here with a group of friends and we had to separate into 2 hotels. 1 is hotel seri geliga ( supposed to be the newer hotel) and Kemaman resort which is the older one in the area up north of cherating town. The hotel is small by malaysian standard. Rooms are small too that we had a hard time moving around. I had to push my single bed in order to open the room door wider to walk out. It is supposed to be a newer hotel but it looks like a hotel ( for indecent act) it is so simple to the point it doesnt look like a hotel. The hotel is so quiet with almost no guests, there is only 1 receptionist. supposed to have a cafe at the lobby but it is not opened all the time. They have a ”snack bar” but it seem useless. There is a ”mini market” used by the local which you can get something. My room have ants and lizards. Toilet is clean but do take note that it is a malay community which they do not use toilet paper and alcohol is strictly prohibited in this town. It is a little far from the eateries which are mainly close to Kemaman resort. its about 10-15mins walk to the beach. If you want to have some turtle watching and releasing of turtles activities, choose kemaman resort instead. Watching turtles lay eggs is 50RM. releasing a turtle is 30RM. all in all, i wouldnt stay here again.
First Residence Hotel by RVH

do not expect a cowboy town to have everything that you will expected (orang bandar). yeah, outside looks so good until you went into the place, you will find out that you are staying in store room instead of hotel. overall, nice bed but i killed 2 baby cockroaches. if you want a good room, please stay at cherating that costs you around 600-1000 per night.. those hotels are just plain budget hotel in kemaman town.
Skyview Hotel

The room is a bit old and ruined, however the lcation is good. The room just near a main road and opposite of school so it's a bit noisy at time. Could get a better room with the price, however not so much option in kemaman
