t was wonderful staying at the Keene Valley Lodge! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, found my accommodations extremely comfortable and I will definitely be coming back! They did everything they could to make me feel like this was a home away from home. The warm, fond memories of my time in Keene Valley and at Keene Valley Lodge will linger a while and I can't wait to be back in November and December!

The perfect spot to explore the Keene Valley and the Adirondack Mountains. The rooms were so comfortable and very well set up. A great breakfast was served every morning. Friendly staff and a perfect location.

Beautiful time of year to be in the Adirondacks. Laurie, the inn keeper, made us all feel welcomed and at home. Loved sitting by the fire at night with a glass of wine. Can’t wait to go back. Plenty of vistas and trails to explore. Perfect region for plein aire painting In the fall. Babbling brooks, woods and waterfalls all made great subjects to paint.

We stayed in the Beede suite with our kids and were so impressed. The suite was clean, had a kitchenette, with microwave, dishes and full size fridge. The inn staff were very kind, the front porch was an inviting space to drink a cup of coffee on a rainy morning. The breakfast was great — we were even offered muffins and bagels for the day we were planning to leave early for a hike. There’s a path through the woods to a deck and fire pit by the river. Bring flip flops to dip your feet in! All in all, a great stay. We’ll be back!

We had a great stay at Keene Valley Lodge. It was very easy to get in with the self check-in, our room was cute and clean. The breakfast was good and it was a good value. Keene is a great spot to stay for the Lake Placid area. We will stay again!

Second time here, reasonably priced, nice rooms, lovely house and great breakfast (fresh blueberry muffins, yum). After breakfast we sat on the lovely front porch to have our tea, a very Adirondack place and we'll be back for sure.

A great place, calm, very friendly and quiet. Homey and with the atmosphere of the mountains. All the facilities including a kitchen with all the appliances. Waning: no TV. It made us remember all our childhood games 🙂. Loved every minute.

I never write reviews but felt the need to write one for this place. Every detail of our stay was perfect- immaculately clean room, beautiful bathroom, comfy bed, fluffy towels, and a delicious breakfast. The staff was so kind and even gave us advice on where to hike in the area. I can’t recommend the Keene Valley Lodge enough.
