This place exceeded our expectations! Beginning with the stunning views of the battlefield in the valley and the mountains beyond….to the exceptional breakfast…to the friends and helpful staff! The private screened in porch was perfect to enjoy the view with a complimentary glass of wine. We also loved watching the sunset over the valley from the comfort of our bed! This place does not disappoint - we will definitely return.

Hosts and team @ Antietam Overlook Farm welcomed us with gracious hospitality. Recommend visitors stay at least two nights (or more) to enjoy the scenic beauty of Western Maryland and nearby West Virginia. The grounds around the farm are wonderful to walk around. The farm sits on a high hill with great views of countryside.

We have been coming to the Antietam Overlook for about 30 years, and it is always a relaxing place. The breakfast is wonderful and the rooms are comfortable, clean and great to just spend quiet time anyplace in the Inn. The owner and staff are wonderful, and add so many little things to make your stay even more enjoyable.

The over all experience was amazing. From the views, staff to the details. The common areas are so welcoming you want to be spend time by the fire, talking to the bird and breathing in the views. In your room the tub invites you to spend hours soaking. The breakfast with the friendly staff is delicious and filling. I will 100% stay again.

The place is amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing - as they said after breakfast you might not need lunch. The entire place was very clean. Our room was very well appointed. Coffee & drinks available 24x7. Convienient to parks, Appalacian trail heads, restraurants. Great views from our screened in porch. We will make this an annual event.

We stayed one evening. Lot of deer nearby! Scenic views from the hills. Enjoyed our stay. Very friendly and easy going. Best place to stay in Antietam and dare say Shepherdstown WV. Close to all amenities. Detail and warmth cannot be matched.

It is an excellent place to stay when visiting the Antietam Battle Field. The Hospitality was wonderful.. We would recommend it to anyone. The view be colorful in the fall!.........................................................

Went for a quick overnight getaway with the hubby… without the kids :) Great location! Literally did overlook the battlefield! Within 10 minutes of Shepherdstown, wv. Cute little college town. Everything you need. Used it as a “base location to explore other things. Rented bikes at pedal and paddle and biked to Harper’s ferry for the day. Great people! The owner was fun to chat with and everyone there was super friendly. Great breakfast! Highly recommend!

This is a very quiet area to relax and enjoy the views. We enjoyed sitting on the screened porches with a cup of coffee in the morning. The common room had all you could ask for with large sitting areas and was beautifully decorated. A beverage area had a fridge stocked with soda, water and wine. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate were available. Tina was a great hostess and was very happy to accommodate our every need. Breakfast each morning was excellent and so fresh! We skipped lunch each day as we were touring, but did not go hungry. Thank you for your hospitality, you helped make our stay great (in spite of the extreme heat)!
