This used to be our favorite summer spot. We'd return at least once a year, for perhaps 4-5 years in a row. However, we hadn't been back for quite a long time. This is what I learned on our most recent visit: The hotel room (I think we had a ”Hollywood Standard Twin) was quite spacious. The beds were large and comfortable, and there is a nice-sized balcony with a generous ocean view. I see some other reviews on Tripadvisor calling the rooms ”old and smelly” -- this has never, ever been my experience, not once. The room seemed exactly as it was over 10 years ago, but that's fine. The colors are soft, muted ”beach” colors and we were very comfortable. On our first night we ate at the ”Melesea” restaurant, which serves French cuisine. We chose the ”Demi portion” course, which was about 9,000 yen (about $62USD with today's exchange rate). We chose it because it wasn't as high priced as some of the other course meals and the portion sizes sounded right for us. There is no question that the ”Demi portion” course was one of the best I've ever had in my life. The chef (Mr. Ohki) is obviously a professional who really understands how to bring out the delicate flavors of any dish, and he is a master at preparing sauces. Everything that was served was outstanding. No, we didn't want to pay that much money per person, but ultimately we made the right choice. We both were extremely impressed. The above two things, plus generally good weather, added up to a good experience. Here, though, are things that you should be aware of: This is essentially a family hotel. That means if you are coming here for peace and quiet, and you make the mistake of coming on a weekend or a national holiday, you can expect lots of screaming children running with abandon down the hallways and fussing in the restaurants and everywhere else. Japanese parents tend to indulge and spoil their little ones. And forget about using the pool, since that's where parents will be staked out the first thing in the morning. If you are a parent, you might find this to be the perfect hotel. If you aren't, and you do not enjoy the boundless energy and noise of children, you will be sorry you booked a room here. So, think carefully about the dates you arrive and leave. As for prices: Although you can get a ”Tokyu Hotel” member card, and although you can find online promotions, the way the hotel makes its money is through its dinners. You are going to pay a lot for them, although there is effort put into them, so, you do feel you are having an ”experience.” But they do not come cheaply. Also, if you don't book your room with breakfast, expect to pay ¥2900 for a ”buffet breakfast.” If you are Japanese, you will love this breakfast; if not, you will find an adequate selection of items for a Western breakfast. But what if you want to go ”out to eat” at night, instead of paying between 10-20,000 yen for a meal? Good luck. Unless you have your own car (and I'd say about 90% of the customers

A hotel nestled in the mountains of Kawazu Town. When we arrived at the parking lot, the hotel staff greeted us. While receiving a welcome drink at check-in, we made reservations for the rental hot springs and Kawazu cherry blossom light-up transportation, and were then shown to our guest rooms. There are many stairs in the building and grounds, which may be difficult for both owners and dogs if they have weak legs. There are plenty of dog runs available, and our two dogs seemed very satisfied. Reservations cannot be made for the dock spa, so you will have to make use of it on a negotiable basis. The dogs seemed confused about their first hot spring experience, but they were able to clean themselves up in the bath after playing in the outdoor dog run. There are dog goods in the guest room as well. Our staff will drive you to the restaurant where you will see the Kawazu cherry blossoms illuminated and have dinner. The food at the restaurant was very well prepared and delicious. They lent me a pet cart for my dog. In addition, meals for your dog can be prepared and eaten together. The private open-air bath had a great sense of openness and the weather was perfect. It's a shame that there is only one washing area, but the time spent using it was 50 minutes, which was plenty. However, it was a shame that I couldn't take a bath in the indoor hot spring (Yuraku) because the temperature was too high and I couldn't adjust it. You can also have breakfast with your dogs. Yogurt for dogs was also available. There aren't many facilities that allow you to bring your dog with you, but at this hotel, being with your dog is treated as a normal thing. I think this is a hotel that will satisfy not only owners but also pets.

The hotel is on the mountain, it is not very convenient to travel, there are buses, but it also takes a long way. The room facilities are simple, without a separate bathroom, so I am not used to it. Because there are many kinds of bugs in the mountains.

Good food and service

You can take a bus to Izu-Kogen Station. There is a hotel shuttle bus in the parking lot. There are no special signs. Pay attention to the hotel's name printed on the front of the bus (you need to look carefully). The driver will check your name carefully before getting on the bus. Although the distance is one kilometer, it is all on hills. Fortunately, we have a car. The hotel room is large and the environment is beautiful. Outside the window is the sea. Dinner in the hotel needs to be booked in advance, and it was too late to make a reservation when we arrived. Dinner is purely Japanese style. The hotel can provide you with the names and phone numbers of nearby hotels. Even the prices in surrounding restaurants are relatively high. This private hot spring has a 24-hour continuous cycle and maintains a constant temperature of 41 degrees. In addition, the hotel also provided socks for wearing clogs. I tried them on but I still wasn't used to them. There are two places on the first floor of the hotel that provide unlimited free drinks, cookies, chocolates, etc. Free dandan noodles in the third floor restaurant. Breakfast is good and cheap.

I stayed in a room on the 9th floor of the silver ridge. I thought it was a good inn to have you get a hand towel by the shuttle car at Inatori Station. I thought, but I was disappointed. It's free in the lounge on the 6th floor, but it's troublesome to go, so I want you to prepare it in your room. Even though it was a warm time, the open-air room was too hot and you couldn't enter it unless you added water. I was happy to have pajamas. Supper is a room meal, but the pace of coming out was slow, and Mr. Nakai's customer service felt uncomfortable. It's a pity that the sashimi was also dripped and didn't look good. Breakfast is a buffet, but there were few types and the taste was normal. I went to Izu, but it's a content that has no features. I often stay at this class inn, but I feel the simplification of the service and I don't think it's worth the price.

This hot spring hotel is the one that I and my friends agree that the meals are the most careful and the best. Ise Sea always has steaming, sashimi, and simmering, each of which is amazing! Burning is another order, 3300 yen per one, which is more cost-effective than in Tokyo. Breakfast is lobster miso soup, full of sincerity. The room is very wide, with a large sea-view balcony, facing the whole sea, I feel very relaxed and happy. The quality of Tangquan is clean and good. For those of us who don't sleep well or slept late, we went to bed early at 10 o'clock on the day of check-in. The service really reflects the value of traditional Japanese service. It is very careful and keeps a comfortable distance, which makes people very relaxing and pleasant. For those who like billiards and singing, this hotel is equipped with related facilities, so you don’t have to be bored at night. If you want to have a late night snack, the vending machine has instant noodles, and you are not afraid that there is no convenience store nearby and you will be hungry. On the day of check-in, there is a pick-up at the station. The car is about 7-10 people on the big platform. It is completely effortless to arrive at the hotel.
