Although the view of the hotel is perfect, but the facilities is quite old. It's far away from the station and no transportation can be accessed to the hotel. However u can ride the free car provided by the hotel on the day u check out .

Location is very convenient, a short hike on the hill down from Atami station. Easy to walk from there to everywhere downtown, and property is well managed with a good onsen. The dining sets are also good quality and value as well. Excellent view from the room! Definitely recommended!!

When we arrived at the hotel, we were amazed by the location,it was the nearest hotel right infront of the sea around that area. Although the building is quite old ,we loved the location.When we entered our hotel room for 3 persons,we were amazed how big the room was and it was on the 8th floor.We loved it!!! The room was huge,the glass window is huge ,you can see the beautiful sunrise while drinking tea and you can hear the waves. It was very relaxing,my husband and our friend were very happy.We paid a very reasonable price for that amazing stay.
I just have one thing that I disliked,
“the smoking room”
It was very dirty,smelly and garbage everywhere.
😢
But,all in all I would recommend it to my friends specially to those looking for reasonable price stay .

I initially chose this hotel because it was being renovated in 2024, and I figured the facilities would be impeccable. However, it was already dark at 7:00 PM, and I was stunned when I received my key. It wasn't a room card, but a key. What era does a hotel still use keys?
The hallways were dim, and I'd be scared to be alone if I weren't with family. There were so many hairs on the tatami mats in the room that you couldn't count them.
I wanted water that night, but there wasn't a bottle of water in the room, and I couldn't find my own cup. I only discovered it at the front desk when I checked out the next day, and the staff didn't even bother to call me. With all this amenities, service, and hair, it's worth paying over 1,000 per night. Oh, and by the way, we were a family of four, and we had two rooms, which cost around 2,200 per night! Everyone, beware!

After arriving at Izu Atagawa Station on the Super View Odoriko train from Tokyo, it's a short walk, but the ocean stretches out before your eyes, and the Japanese-style rooms are very spacious. The staff are also very friendly. Breakfast was a little pricey at 2,000 yen. The dryer on the 9th floor was clogged with sand, so it only blew warm air and didn't blow air. The price was very reasonable, and I would definitely use it again if I have the opportunity. The facilities are a little old, but that's part of the charm.

I only chose this hotel to stay in Ito. It's centrally located for Shirahama and Izu Kogen. (However, the hotel's surroundings and amenities are truly unworthy of the price. Compared to similarly priced hotels in Hakone, the difference is stark.)

If you want to experience traditional Japanese life, you can book here. The sea view room has tatami mats. It is very quiet and uninhabited nearby.
