Mythos Palace Resort & Spa

We were welcomed on arrival with with cold drinks and food on after a late flight in. The staff were amazing and greeted you evey day with smiles , the service is what you expect from a 5 star hotel , rooms spotless, bar staff incredible, beach kept clean and tidy and always a sunbed awaiting your arrival. Pool great size and plenty of sun loungers available. But my hero's are the chefs , the all day food was delicious and the you just knew the level of effort put into each plate . Never again cockroaches and ants in the bedroom bathroom and in the plunger pool. Some guests were having a row at 3am shouting screaming and throwing things. Staff at reception was so unhelpful when we had a problem they didn’t want to know or help us food was too salty and not much option. Black stains on my bed sheets even had the ants on the bed views were nice. Staff in restaurants were friendly and the drinks were the really cheap Coke or watered down. Wouldn’t come here again as this spoilt our time as I do like my clean rooms and these were bad I would say it’s more like a 3 star and the worst hotel iv stayed in go somewhere else

Everything was excellent, very nice people and top service. Good food and drinks, what more do you want ? We found everything we were looking for : pool with poolbar, direct access to the beach with beach bar and beach restaurant. Okay, the weather wasn't as good as we expected, but this can happen end of may

On arrival, all seemed pleasant , lovely interior and a refreshing soft drink handed to us. The receptionists appeared welcoming initially, and walked us to a room on the ground floor. First thoughts when we entered the room, it was dark and depressing, the bathroom was very dated and felt unclean. We was dissatisfied with the location of the room as we requested a garden view however it over looked the pool in a main walkway to the restaurant with no privacy. The nets were tired and dated and our backs were very stiff the next morning from the mattresses. There were also many ants on the floor. The towels were off white and hard which is not 5 star. The next day we complained to reception who was initially disgruntled by our comments and made us feel it was our fault as we didn’t request a room, however we requested a garden view. We were eventually accommodated the following day and moved to the 3rd floor with a beautiful Mountain View. The bathroom appeared less tired but still needed updating. On a positive note, there was always something to eat for even the fussiest eaters, the staff were attentive and friendly. Our maid, Nina was lovely and made up our room excellently daily, however a fresh mid week linen change would be appreciated. The location of the beach and pool is flat and accessible with tasty cocktails. Kids clubs was far too late, it was loud and spoilt the ambience for eating dinner in the beautiful outside spaces. What made our holiday was the animation team, they were faultless with fantastic evening entertainment and around the pool. We loved aqua aerobics. On departure, a receptionist questioned our demeanour when we arrived stating we looked “Sad, and did you leave your troubles behind” which felt intrusive when we were fine. Overall our experience was satisfactory, the hotel is definitely not 5 star. I know we are being critical, but it’s constructive feedback for the hotel to improve customer experience.

This hotel is mostly perfectly formed. The room was boutique style, comfortable, quiet and had everything you needed for a holiday. Cleaner did an excellent job, worked really hard and she was always cheerful. The food is quite good and would recommend the beach restaurant on Greek food night it was amazing although the restaurant is lacking ambience. The pool and beach areas are good, we always found a sun-bed which was a plus. The staff work extremely hard and all are very pleasant. There were two things that let the hotel down one was the entertainment, the first night there was a band playing who were fantastic but didn’t enjoy anything after that, maybe it’s personal taste. Children’s club ends at 9pm, too late I feel but I understand the hotel is somewhat family orientated. Finally the hotel fronts onto a busy main road and it’s not a very pleasant area.

Would love to give 5 stars if only because the staff are brilliant. Food was tasty but inevitably lukewarm. All areas apart from our private pool were always spotless but are starting to look a little worn / dated The drinks concept was fantastic couldn't fault it. A free shuttle from the hotel to Georgiopolis would be a nice additional service maybe every other day ???? Entertainment was average. Again thank you to the wonderful Staff who along with the marvellous weather made our holiday. Regards Paul & Jayne
