Island Beach Resort - Adults Only

Whilst it wasn't the hotel from hell it definitely was far from the management photos shown online. Having read reviews I did call the hotel day before we travelled to make sure we would be in a "superior" room as per we booked and they confirmed we would. From what I saw and heard it seems to be people who book via tour operators/travel agents that are ushered to the "annex" building. We booked a superior room directly with the hotel. The room itself was just ok, no bedside lockers, no furniture in room other than bed and an open wardrobe, worktop with a coffee machine and fridge underneath. Fridge was old and had no shelves inside. There was no tv either, we didn't mind but others might! The beds were rock hard, not one bit comfortable. The biggest let down was the cleaning services, we stayed for 9 days and the sheets were not changed during our stay. We had to request a change of towels on the 4th day, the gent "cleaning" reluctantly gave them to us. Cleaning each day involved flushing the toilet, giving a toilet roll if needed and mopping the bedroom floor, floor wasn't even hoovered or swept before washing! We had one small shower gel and one small shampoo left for our arrival and these were not replenished. The floor/bath mat at the shower wasn't changed either in the 9 days, disgusting! Went to the bar first evening and was charged €12 for a large beer and large cider - they produced 2 plastic glasses with approx 400ml, needless to say we didn't go back. Sunbeds x 2 + umbrella on beach was €14 per day. I could go on but, suffice to say, we made the most of our holiday and stayed away from the room for as long as we could each day. Don't take the singular reviews as gospel - these are posted by travellers under duress when they are checking out. I would not agree to post my review at check out so this is my honest review.............believe the photos posted by genuine travellers

Perfect everyday, corfiot people best in the World. Food , views & history to die for. Will return with love in my heart. Best holiday ever had, relaxed & felt loved by the Corfiats be back soon x

Amazing experience, staff are very friendly and accommodating, Sydney is very helpful with booking events and recommendations, really enjoyed our stay here! Room was kept clean and had a lovely view of the sea also!

We had a good experience here at island beach Kavos! We stayed in the main island hotel on the top floor and had a lovely time away in the sun!

Probably one of the worst experiences of my life , booked expecting a hotel and got an annex after refusing the first one which was miles away , also the cleaner and his friend came to rob our room after asking if we were away for the evening, complained to reception but got shouted at by the owner , if I could give it no stars I would

Great experience every one was so helpful and friendly! Great location with all things nearby on the ***** ! Lovely beach you do need to pay for sun beds but those are included in a really good deal for your stay with things like 2 for 1 drinks, free entry to events when you pay for 2 excursions for a really good price. It is a really upbeat place with music playing all day by the pool and lounging area. Go here if you want a good time ! :)
