The facade on the outside is in natural colored wood and the hotel was built about 10 years ago. Located between the village center and Circle-K along the main road. Plenty of free parking outside. Didn't see any engine heater slots or electric car charging post. Reception is straight ahead when you enter a small lobby with a few armchairs. Around the corner there is a nice bar and inside a restaurant (the restaurant is closed on Sundays, which is common in hotels, there is a pizzeria a bit away that closes at 8pm on Sundays) where breakfast is also served. Our room was one floor down with the elevator, on the same level as the gym, sauna tub, etc. We had a small dog so had booked a dog room (always contact the hotel directly so they unlock such a room). There is a fee of NOK 400 per dog (which is quite high compared to Sweden). Nothing extra was included for the dog such as a bowl, blanket or dog treats. A smaller double room of approx. 16.5 square meters. Calm. Free WIFI. Since it has been over 10 years since the hotel opened, they have started to renovate some rooms (a couple of rooms at a time). This room was probably not one of the renovating ones, but still fresh, cosy. Light brown parquet floor with light walls and in our room the furniture was in orange and the curtains by the windows were in green. Painting with elements from Sami culture. Comfortable beds with lovely bed linen and lovely soft duvet. Two pillows on each bed (compliment). Directly inside the door is an open wardrobe with some smaller shelves. Full-length mirror and a modern, normal-sized bathroom with shower and which has shower cream, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion in small packages. Luxurious! The room was at ground level with a view of the valley through a fence. A desk with accompanying chair and above a flat screen TV (had some of the Swedish channels for Swedish guests). A smaller armchair. The room was chilly but the electric element could be set up. No air-conditioning (considering summer time). The window can be opened. A larger gym is on floor – 1 with a changing room and shower opposite, as well as a drinking water tap and smaller towels outside. If you want to use a sauna, it is in the form of a smaller sauna barrel that is placed outside. Special door cards can be borrowed at reception. Ideally, you should change indoors because the anteroom to the sauna is small. Lovely heat in the sauna (water to pour on the stones must be fetched inside) and no lighting if it's dark outside (winter time). We had to borrow small rechargeable candles which made it cozy. Special thanks to the male receptionist who let us quickly bathe the sauna by ourselves as no one else was using it too temporarily. The hot tubs that are also outside, I don't know if they are only open during the summer or if they have to be rented? Breakfast is served in the restaurant and is included for all hotel guests. Sami music is played from the speaker, nice! Hot food (sausage, meatballs
