Stayed in this hotel for4 nights in April 2023 and ordered 2 rooms. The location of this hotel is excellent! on the main street where lot of coffee shops, restaurants, bars and shops and it is only a ten minute walk to the old town. The clean rooms were modern and spacious and had all the amenities we required and are quieter. Our rooms (208 & 209) were two stairs that divided between the bathroom and the living room, at night no backlight for the stairs and it is dangerous in the dark. This is why these rooms are not suitable for disabled people. We had breakfast included in our rate - was ok. However, breakfast area was very dated . We definitely recommend this hotel if you were planning to stay in Kaunas.

Very good hotel is very new and much bigger than expected. I checked in early on Christmas and I was worried that I would not be able to check in. I emailed the hotel and told me that I can check in 24 hours. The attitude of the staff is also super good Ačiu! :)

Just a one-night stay on my 2nd visit to Kaunas. A very friendly welcome at the reception. Our rooms were ready early! A traditional and quite large hotel. A good-sized room with a comfortable bed. The hotel is in a great location. Very central. Close to the sights, the restaurants and the bars. The old town is quite a walk, but less than £3 in UK money for a taxi there. The hotel is very reasonably priced and I would be happy to stay there again.

Maybe this hotel used to be a 4 star hotel with the previous owner. I Think the number of stars should be reconsidered. We stayed in a suite. The room it self is Nice. It is in 2 levels with the sleeping area on the top. But the funiture and style is outdated and cheap. The room was clean. Be aware, that you Will find : No breakfast No restaurant No sauna No spa No modern training hall It displayes a little bit different on the homepage......but during out stay it was ” out of order”....! So, in this 4 star hotel, the only Thing you Will find, is a room with a bed. You Will have a short walk to the main shopping street and the shopping center Akropolis.

The hotel is freezing cold. Having a meal in the restaurant or having breakfast is something you do as quick as possible because the temperature there is freezing. It's impossible to enjoy a meal or a drink there. Even the staff seem to be cold and have blankets over their shoulders. Don't the managers get that it's normal to have the heating on in the winter? It's not possible to enjoy some time in the room unless you're in a thick pyjamas under the blanket - if you are lucky enough to be alone to be alone and can take the blanket from the other bed.

Luck is very good, just happened to meet Kaunas 611 birthday, there are exclusive activities, too lively, I feel that people from half a city have gone to the old city. The hotel is very good, but we drove the bus to Riga at 5 o'clock the next morning and didn't enjoy the breakfast!

Friendly staff, clean room, decent breakfast, centrally located near bus and train stations. Quiet and safe streets. Some would probably prefer an open bar or late night restaurant near by, but if you survive the city (the few restaurants and bars) nearby closing at around 22, and you’re in it for a good nights sleep, Ibis Kaunas is really good value for money.

In fact, this is an autonomous hotel, after booking and payment, you have to send a copy of your passport by email/wotzapp and you will get the homephone code, instructions how to enter. Then you have to dial a number from the phone and the most important thing is to understand how it opens because only a clicking can be heard. My door opened inside after the third attempt. In the room everything is clean, good. Very pleased with a normal hammer coffee for people. The only disadvantage is a broken tap, unclean top shower and a lot of dust on the fan. The terrace is very beautiful, though, in the rest of it is a solid four!

It is right on the edge of Old Town and Historic Town Center, loads of eateries, attractions and all walking distance. Myself and partners are very thankful for advice from staff too.

GGuest UserDaugirdas Hotel is located close to the river in old-town Kaunas. It consists of two conjoined buildings, an old one and a newer annex. Our room was on the 3rd floor of the older part of the building and a bit dated. It was fairly large with a double bed, sofa, and desk, all clearly quite some years old but clean and well-kept. Our bathroom was large, too, and had a small balcony facing the street. Shampoo and shower gel were provided when it comes to toiletries. An on-site bar-restaurant provides drinks and dinner - normally, the restaurant seems to be located on the 1st floor, but when we stayed in June, dinner was only served at the outdoor terrace on the 4th floor. Unfortunately service seemed to be very stressed out (probably they were understaffed considering the number of tables and guests) which translated into a snappy, unfriendly attitude towards us as guests. Food was ok - the starter, tuna tataki, was really nice, but both mains (a salad and a burger) were nothing special and rather uninspired. Breakfast is served in the vaulted cellar, buffet-style, and rather simple. Compared to other hotels, the variety and quality of food were at a relatively lower standard. The room with its vaulted ceiling was impressive, the flip side of the room’s layout and simple furniture was that it was very loud just from people having normal “breakfast conversations”. Overall not bad, but probably not a hotel to remember and return to.

GGuest UserI stayed at a hotel for one night, in one of their suites, a night before my wedding.I would say, the hotel still needs to do a bit more work to justify that 4 star description. Positives: - comfortable bed, can’t complain, had a great night’s sleep! - AC - spacious room - spacious bathroom - great location Negatives: - security concerns. You need to input a code to open the door, which is great, except… the door during the day is not locked, and the door next to the entrance is open during the day as well (as it leads to the little cafe) so pretty much anyone could access the hotel during the day. - the breakfast was very underwhelming. Not much choice, the girl working there looked very bored and to be honest it was hard to find something filling to eat. The cheese, the meat, everything was not as you would expect at a 4 star hotel. And I am not a choosy person foodwise. - the carpet in the room needs some serious cleaning. When we were taking pictures, literally had to make sure the carpet doesn’t make an appearance :D - the jacuzzi tub works but like… it splashes so much! - and parking well… there is not much of it, but not really the hotel’s fault. All in all, extra attention to detail and the stay at the hotel would be 👌
