You know they dont clean the floors when there's a huge knife beside the bed on the floor. Floors were DIRTY! The entire room is fake wood, no carpet and after walking barefeet, our feet were disgusting - as if the floors had never ever been cleaned. The pool was permanently closed, but no where on their website says that. Room looked decent. I've stayed in hotels/motels all over the U.S. & these were some of the worst mattresses ever. "Sink holes" in them, uneven, just bad. Breakfast was so-so, a very continental, old school breakfast: bananas, muffins & a waffle maker - there is not a breakfast attendant and they will not restock the food. Both mornings, the waffle batter was so empty, there was barely enough for 1 full waffle. This is an old school Motel with doors on the outside. It is remodeled & upgraded, but $100 is the MAX this room is worth.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was disappointed with both the condition of the room and the lack of transparency regarding charges. Upon check-in, I was surprised by an unexpected pet fee that was not disclosed at the time of booking. Clear communication of all fees upfront is essential for guest trust, and this lack of transparency felt misleading.
In addition, the room showed signs of neglect and poor maintenance. The bottom of the interior door was badly damaged, with veneer peeling and the material deteriorating (see attached photo). The entry door was warped, and the bottom metal ***** was bent and loosely attached, raising concerns about both security and insulation.
These issues indicate a lack of routine maintenance and oversight. While the location and basic amenities may have been adequate, the condition of the room and surprise fees made the experience disappointing. I would not recommend this property until maintenance issues are addressed and all fees are clearly communicated prior to booking.

Very clean rooms. Pleasant staff. Bed was a little rough on my back, but that could just be me. Will definitely stay here again when we're in town.

Very Pleased
We stayed one night while in town for a baseball tournament. Prior to booking I was skeptical cause it seemed like a less than modern hotel but I went with it. Glad I did! The room was very clean, the staff were above and beyond friendly. Our HDMI cord was broken so we called the office. It was checked and replaced within 10 minutes!
Location was key as there were several eating places within walking or 5 minute drive to include Starbucks, Whataburger, Panda, Wingstop, Chinese, Mexican and a Walmart!
Recommend and if we ever return for baseball this will be our go to place to stay!

Surprisingly nice!
This place is a classic. Takes you back to the days of clean, reliable, family friendly motor inns. Their breakfast area is small, but it had a considerate variety for such a small location. Starbucks and Whataburger are right next door if you want anything more. This place deserves it's high praise.

The manager was a super nice guy, we had booked the jacuzi room becausw the big tub seemed nice to use, though entering the room we saw multiple places with peeling paint within said tub, nasty black stuff and hairs left in the bottom once we flushed the jets.
There were butt stains on one of the chairs, the bed will absolutely destroy your back and every time you lie on it or stand up it sounds like a gunshot is going off, and the highway eight next to the hotel is travelled on 24/7 non stop so if you plan on getting sleep here you better bring some ear buds... overall the staff are great but the room was almost a complete disaster.
