I recently stayed at the EVOKE hotel, a property that is marketed as a 3-star establishment, but my experience was far from satisfactory. The service was more akin to a guest house than a reputed 3-star hotel. Room & Amenities: The room and washroom were not up to the mark. Basic amenities, which are typically available in all 3-star hotels, were noticeably absent. This lack of essential services significantly impacted the comfort and convenience of my stay. Food & Dining: Another major disappointment was the breakfast service. Instead of providing an in-house breakfast, which is a standard offering in most 3-star hotels, the hotel ordered bread and butter from outside. This not only inconvenienced us but also raised questions about the quality and hygiene of the food. Staff Behavior: To add to the disappointment, the staff was rude and unprofessional. Their behavior was not reflective of the hospitality industry standards, and it further tarnished our experience. Brand Reputation: The EVOKE brand name suggests a certain level of service and quality. However, the reality was starkly different. The poor service, lack of basic amenities, subpar dining experience, and the rude behavior of the staff were not reflective of the EVOKE brand. Overall: Despite the hotel’s good reputation online, the reality was starkly different. I hope my feedback prompts the necessary improvements for future guests. I would advise future guests to think 100 times before choosing to stay in the EVOKE hotel chain.
