Dear Mr Turkovic, Facility Manager, it is not a question of renting in Kator. It is a question of how, in the European Union, someone can rent out accommodation that is a health hazard. My family and I will avoid your hotel completely and will never come back. I will also inform the management of the Swimming Lagoon about the state of this resort. I ask you frankly, would you and your family stay in one of these apartments for even one night? Be honest and answer truthfully. So I ask you again: stop renting out this resort.

We stayed at this place at the beginning of august. All in all the accommodation is basic but ok. It looks like after numerous bad reviews they invested some money in refurbishment. Some items from the kitchen were missing, but they were brought to the apartment on request. Animation in the hotel is good. Animation for children starts a bit late, but it is great. BUT all the hell breaks loose when you want to use the pool or take sun beds or umbrellas at the beach!! I will start with the pool: it opens at 8.00 and by 8.05 all the sun beds are taken. At 9 am the pool is empty, just towels everywhere, 10 am still empty, no chance to drop a towel anywhere, 11 am some guests apper, the pool gets full by noon. As we saw what is going on, one morning we put our towels on the sun beds at 7 am before the pool opened. As we came ar 9 am or towels were gone and somebody took our place. To make the story clear, I need to note that the sun beds at the pool are free, whereas you need to pay for them at the beach ( that is the the first time when common sence left this story). So, we found our towels carefully folded at the beach boy, and, as we asked him what had just happened, the respone was: “ I open the pool at 8 am and you MUST stay in line with everyone else at that time and grab a place. Not at 7, at 8 am sharp.” I decided to clear the situation at the front desk ( that was the second time the common sense ran away screaming). There I was told the same story, that if I want a spot near the pool, I “MUST” queue there with towels at 8am or (that’s the best part) MAKE AN ARRAIGNMENT WITH THE BEACH BOY!! Aren’t they on salary??? By the way the only job, what that beach boy does at the pool is running and reserving spots at 8 am for those, who “ made an arrangement” with him, and then sits in a pleasant shade all day long, surfing the net on the phone. When I asked for the manager, the receptionist got passive aggressive, ran way and in a moment announced that the facility manager is not available today and there was no way to contact him. When I asked to show the the rules of using the pool or any legal document where I could find any confirmation of that bizarre rules, there were none. He tried to handwrite a note to confirm the situation, refused to print in out with a stamp or signature. During the while event the poor receptionist was calling someone, running around in attempt to find any legal document, but he didn’t have a slightest idea where they are. The situation at the beach is no better. If you come at 8 am there will be nobody to buy sun beds or sunshades from ( of course no bill issued), you come at 10 am - no sunshades available, just broken ones, for which they charge full price. I suppose that the response from the hotel will be something like: we are sorry you had such a bad experience, we will try to improve and so on, but nothing will be chanced in the nearest future, so if you were unlucky as to book this facility, be prepared to the

I checked out in the morning at 8, realizing immediately that I forgot something in the apartment but I was out for a trip the whole day, so couldn’t come back straightaway, called immediately at 8:20, explained, got told that I’ll be called, nothing happened, Called in the afternoon, got told that the apartment “was checked” and nothing was found, telling me in not a nice way, got there at the reception, explained again third time, got told again nothing was found, not helpful and polite at all I have to mention. Had to go MYSELF to knock at the door of the apartment I booked, disturbed the people staying there and FOUND my stuff WHERE I TOLD THEM I LEFT IT. Very disappointed.

First of all, let me explain why I go year after year to this neglected so-called resort. Every year, people with mental disabilities have workshops and active social activities there. My son has such a disability. Last year, I wrote a fairly subdued criticism along the lines of let us just adapt to the situation. This year it was much worse. There is no air conditioning and no internet, the cleanliness is at a catastrophic level, the apartments are small and non-functional. The beds themselves are a disaster, probably dating back to the days of the former Yugoslavia. Ants and spiders everywhere. We discovered a hole in the floor in the living room where they have an anthill. But more than that, I was worried about my health every night when I lay down in that den. We know the story of the denationalisation and the restoration of Kator and the non-restoration of Polynesia. But is cleanliness a strategic investment? Is the lack of toilet paper a strategic investment? Is renting wi-fi? The only bright side is the restaurant on the neglected swimming pool. The prices there are good and the staff excellent. Overall, this case is not a question of ectr ratings. It is a fundamental question of how, in the European Union, it is even possible for someone to outsource such a health-threatening service. Stop it. Disinfect the entire facility, clean it thoroughly, install new beds and yoga mats and ensure that it is cleaned every three days at least. Otherwise, stop nagging people who are tearing their mouths off for a holiday, but are experiencing a nightmare.

A lot of negative criticism can be read about the apartamans in Polynesia Katoro. OK, a lot is true. However, look at things from a positive perspective, You cannot expect to get air conditioning, service, etc. for such a price. This is the simple story of this destination. At the end of the day, the only question is whether the child is happy. The pluses are as follows; the coast is nearby, the pool is great for children, normal prices for food at the pool, friendly staff. Bad points; one spoon in the apartment for five, poorly functioning stove, heat in the apartment. Overall, it was an average week in line with expectations. Again, when you go to this facility, go there with a positive attitude.

GOOD 1. NATURE: - Wonderful nature with lots of shade and beautiful walking paths - Various beaches with plenty of space (more suitable for children) - There are quite a few activities around the camp - Solid and old fashion accommodation (if you are lucky enough to get a "renovated" house) BAD: 1.) CENTRAL RESTAURANT DISASTER: We have been going to Croatia for 30 years and for us this is definitely the worst restaurant ever. If you want to see how to get 800 people into one restaurant, if you have already forgotten what milk and potato in powder looks like (from the time of socialism) and if you want to spend 2 stressful hours for every single lunch waiting in line and looking for conditionally tasty food that is very often runs out (and suddenly replaced by other food!), you are in the right place. Unmixed juice, fully salted cottage cheese, juice and tea vs. matching glasses on the wrong side so that the two columns of people overlap,...) My opinion: the restaurant is not listed on TripAdvisor or anywhere else because it is so bad that they dare not advertise it publicly. 2.) DECAYING INFRASTRUCTURE: Solid houses, crumbling and dangerous toys for children. Need renovation for about last 5 years. 3.) Amateur animation: With the exception of a nice magic show, everything else is very, very bad and amateurish (low budget staff with no idea and sense of performance and working with people) 4.) Below average pool restaurant, ignorant waiters, etc. 5.) RECEPTION: Same as animation: young, inexperienced receptionists with no "feeling for customers" 6.) Really loud nightlife 7.) Very poorly furnished apartment

A studio apartment is a 20 square meter room with a kitchenette and a small bathroom with fungus. For 3 people far too small, without air conditioning and a kettle. The first day the stove broke, I had to ask for a third set of sheets. We asked to change the room, bigger and newer, but we were refused. We had 5 days but left after 4. It's sad because the waterfront and swimming pools are 8/10 points, but the apartment is 2/10.

Initially we arrived at the hotel, it was on the occasion of a Rheto trip, the area was really beautiful, beautiful view of the sea, beautiful swimming pool, really great, then comes the distribution of the rooms, very few were ready, mine were not and we came across a few surprises (see photos look at the goods), the ones that were ready were dirty, we arrived at 4:00 p.m. so they should have had time to clean, there were little creatures like baby ants coming out of the walls (see if I can post the video) in some rooms, there were apparently insect eggs behind the frames, the first night, having been cold, I went to ask for a extra cover at reception, in 4 days I never received it, anyway, I don't recommend this hotel.
