Amazing stay at Corfu Secret Hotel - very clean, friendly owners, beautiful pool, and a great terrace for breakfast.
The only negative point is that you must walk downhill to reach the beach and restaurants. Also, the breakfast could have some fresh fruits.
A suggestion for the owner - offer dinner at your facilities (maybe even traditional Greek food?).

A realy wonderful boutique hotel full of unique old style paints 🎨 and an amazing view. The staff was every moment next to us. Spiros every morning had to organize a different trip around the island for us. Very clean rooms and a quality continental breakfast. It's sure that we will visit again this place.

We knew this was a basic budget hotel but as we only needed it from 10.30pm to 7.30 am there was no point paying for a decent hotel. As soon as we got there we were surprised that it was so basic the rugs and furniture are very worn and in need of replacement. We requested the standard room with panoramic view. The website shows a seaview in the description of that room type. I will add pictures of the "view". I requested via ******* a refund of the extra paid for said view but it was disputed by the owner. The ******* agent said the owner raised his voice insisting we had correct room and needed to pay extra for upstairs room.

This hotel had the best view out of all the hotels on our trip (room 202). I loved sitting on the balcony of our room, listening to cicadas and looking at the vistas. They are exactly like on the pictures. The receptionists also did their best to help the customers. For example, the bed was a bit hard for my taste so he asked the cleaning lady to bring me a softer matress which was perfect. There's a bus stop 400 meters downhill (bus number 7 goes to Corfu town). Keep in mind this is uphill on your way back, though. Ipsos is also close by with its restaurants, bars and a beautiful beach. Corfu is so beautiful. Each view is postcard material. I recommend hiring a car or a motorbike and driving around like we did. The receptionist can help you finding a rental place. The hotel also has a friendly cat that can be found chilling on the premises. He lets you pet him and purrs. The only negative we could think of is that my spouse thought the breakfast was a bit simple.

We returned to Corfu in August and were quite limited as to where we could stay in Ipsos as most properties were sold out or to expensive. We found this property on *********** but eventually booked it direct and paid just over £600 for 1 week’s B and B which is good for that time of year. We know Ipsos well and have seen this property before but this is the first time we have used it and were so glad we did. The property is situated up the hill from Pyrgi and then left by the small shop it takes about 10 minutes to walk from Al’s restaurant to the hotel. The only thing I would say is that the property may not be suitable for people with reduced mobility as it’s set over different levels with steps to the rooms and pool. The number 7 blue bus starts at the end of the road and runs through Dassia and Gouvia to Corfu town every 20 minutes. We used this to get to the airport for about 10 Euro’s changing at San Rocco then onto the airport. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the view from the balcony was amazing over Ipsos bay. The room was comfortable and clean and the safe and A/C were included in the price. The breakfast was a bit limited but perfectly okay for your day ahead. I can recommend this hotel highly and we would return when in Ipsos again.

Unfortunately, although the owners are friendly, the room is not the best. Cobwebs everywhere, not very clean, without a mosquito net, strange animals came in and came out from under the bed, took two, very far from the bed and detached from the wall. The road back to the hotel is dark in the evening and with cars whizzing past you within an inch as there is no pavement. Some things could be fixed and modernized and it would be much better.

Very small room, it doesn't even have sockets near the bedside table to charge your cell phone, very small bathroom with the door that doesn't stay open and is close to the sink, without sockets here too, very small shower without a shower head but with a hand shower that you have to maintain so you can't wash with two hands, with the curtain sticking to you and not retaining the water so everything gets flooded, courtesy products (soap, shower gel) only put on the first day and then dosed for the entire stay, locusts like roommates, empty and non-functioning minibar that didn't cool, scandalous and always the same breakfast, without sweets, only bread and jam, cereals and a packaged donut, cut so thin that it crumbled, yogurt and hard-boiled eggs, neither a biscuit nor a croissant nor any type of dessert, if you want espresso or cappuccino it costs extra (€2 for an espresso). They gave me "one of the best rooms", I can't imagine the others! With that cost I have had decidedly superior hotels, bought stars! Disappointed

I booked an executive room, because seeing the rooms so dated, I thought the latter was better, but I was wrong. We arrived and everything looked as in the photos: a slightly old-fashioned but comfortable room, with a discreet and panoramic terrace. We subsequently noticed the presence of cobwebs under the chandelier, which we brought to the attention of the staff who kindly resolved the problem immediately... problem which, unfortunately, did not end there, as there were other cobwebs and many insects... in short, despite the cleaning, the environment was dirty. Furthermore, the bathroom is equipped with a rather uncomfortable shower with a curtain that makes it impossible not to flood the floor. The only positive thing is that the hotel is located a few steps from the beach and that it was equipped with air conditioning and a pleasant terrace
