It’s my first time in Zanzibar, I spent two nights at this hotel and a night in another hotel, all I can say is that this hotel is wonderful, rooms are clean, food is nice and above all the staffs are lovely, very friendly and helpful, I’ve been to many hotels in different countries but I can give a high thumb for the staffs of Toa hotel, The General Manager, Lucas that received me upon arrival and the best of all The Front Desk Manager ESTHER, thanks a lot for the hibiscus Juice the day I arrived and the last cup you gave me before I leave, you never knew but it’s my best and I’ll come back for it again in sha Allah.
You gave me free wine lucky I don’t drink alcohol I had to return it back to you, thank you so much and I’ll recommend thousands to use your hotel if I have to and I’m sure you’ll never let them down.

Top quality hotel, directly on the beach. Staff are unbelievably great. We were well looked after by Sega. Beds are brand new and huge. 4 swimming pools Great selection of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Try the coconut with a shot in it.

A fantastic hotel with an amazing location. Very friendly and proffessional staff. This hotel is located on the beach. There are different activities offered. I tried the water arobic which was really good and fun. They offer a great buffé for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some days the dinner is served on the beach which was very special.

Lovely hotel. The hotel gave a transfer which was good and felt reasonable for the price Very clean, very modern, staff were very good on the whole, although a few staff members who expected a tip before really doing their job; an example, one member of staff accompanied us to a table at dinner (that we had already started walking to) and then stood waiting for a tip. The pools were lovely and warm and always clean. The beach was delightful and the excertion team left us be once we advised that we weren’t interested. The downside to the beach was the hawkers who were eagerly waiting for us to venture out of the hotels boundaries (e.g. the sea) and so the hotel could do nothing about it. The food was delicious and a decent variation of both western and local cuisines. The spa massage was delightlful and I would recommend The sea was incredibly hot and shallow and so we spent limited time in there. The room was clean, spacious with a great shower and comfortable beds and lovely balconies – we did not have a fault with it. On our second night, due to heavy rain there was a puddle at our door an the staff were very quick and attentive to resolve it. We had a very late night arrival and the hotel very kindly provided us with sandwiches in the room as we had missed dinner but it was included in the room.

Lovely place with extremely nice crew in each point of view,always smart and friendly, always try to create the best for guest. All Is on very high standard - hygiene, food,service, all bars, drinks, pool, spa care, messages,simply all was perfect Holiday like in Heaven. Also very good experience with ordering local trips via hotel, good Price,program created exactly per our Wish. If you look for a relax time, go to Toa & SPA hotel, you will not feel sorry since first second you arrive.

Everything was fabulous, including the room, food, and service. I 100% recommend the hotel. The kids were very happy and enjoyed every minute of it. They insist on visiting the TOA hotel again. The sea view dine was amazing, including the grills that were serve that night

I would like to report a serious issue. One evening, while we were at dinner, an employee came to inform us that we had left the safe open. We went to close it, the cleaning lady continued her work, and we returned to our meal. However, when we got back to the room and counted our money, we realized that $100 was missing. We are 100% certain that the money was taken from the safe. We went to the reception desk, and instead of addressing the issue properly, they kept insinuating that we had misplaced the money ourselves. It took two days for them to show us the surveillance footage, which clearly showed the cleaning lady entering our room before we were informed about the open safe. We decided not to ruin our vacation and let it go, as it was clear they were covering it up, and pursuing the matter further would have been pointless. As for the local police, the chances of them actually helping us were slim to none.
