The Nepalese people have also gone bad. The hotel may be in a good business in Durbar Square. When I went there, I obviously had a room. I told you that there is no theory. Ctrip can book why you said no, I know that we only stayed for 1 night and hesitated. Half a day, shouting leadership, what is not too slow to ask a lot of questions, or not, tired and sleepy, I insisted on the theory, finally got a list in Ctrip, or gave the room Living on the top floor, there was no electricity in the socket at night, no hot water bathing, the monkey ran into the house at night and pulled on the luggage and so on... but the next day, the red sister forgot to forget everything.

I lived my life in Canada, USA and Australia. Travelling is my passion. I have been to Nepal several times and visited besides Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Nepalgunj, Surkhet, Dullu etc and obviously have stayed at multiple hotels. In Thamel Kathmandu I have stayed in few very hotels but Hotel Osho is where I felt at home. This is my come back to this hotel for good reasons which is hard to find in Thamel. The location is the best and closest to everything in a quiet street. The hotel is very clean with helpful friendly staff. House keeping is excellent. Perfect terrace to relax comparing to many other hotels. Warm heated reception with first class facilities. Please contact Bishnu and he resembles his given name lord Vishnu, he solves all your problems. A friendliest hotel client representative I have ever met in Nepal. He was so open with pricing and kept his words with no strings attached etc eg tax .He even bought a digital scale to weigh my luggage. The facility does not have a lift service but the staff takes care of the luggage. I strongly advise that don’t waste your time searching just book Osho and try try believe me you will not regret. For sure I will return again as it is my second home when I am in Kathmandu, for this stay of 5 weeks still feels short.

This is the best service hotel that I have stayed till now. Every one of the staff are so nice and kind, ready to offer help any time. Thank you so much for helping me in many ways. I am deeply impressed by your hospitality and delicious food and clean comfortable and bright airy room with good facilities and a beautiful window view of a garden and mountain in the distance. And I also enjoy the serene and artistic atmosphere and delicate decorations in the hotel. Thanks a lot again to all the staff. You make me feel like home.

We stayed at Hotel Atlantic in December and had a very comfortable stay. The Location is very good because its in a more quiet place but still in Thamel. The Breakfast is also nice and freshly made. We booked a Trek with them and it was amazing. The Rooms are clean and there is hot water. Overall we had a really nice stay at the Hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

Stayed here for 9 nights, loved the service and sound proof rooms. The dinner and breakfast chefs were amazing and the location of hotel is part of Chaya centre which has a amazing coffee spot called Arabica coffee!! Once we gathered our bearings around Thamel, shopping and external restaurants are very easy to walk to and enjoy. When using taxis we saved so much downloading Pathao so we did not have to negotiate on price and get overcharged. Highly recommend Aloft in Kathmandu and they are great ambassadors of the Marriott name and brand!

Very accommodating Hotel. Very helpful staffs. Easy location for cafe restaurants and trekking shops. Clean room and bathrooms. Hot water was enough. Wifi works good. Plus they have verity of choice on buffet breakfast every morning 6.30 to 10 which is very good. They have extra service for arranging tour and trekking allover Nepal. I am on the tail end of an 18-night stay at the Lakhey Hotel in Kathmandu, and I can honestly say that it has been WONDERFUL. I've gotten to know many of the staff, and they all are warm, friendly, and gracious. The hotel has only been open for a couple of months, and it is spotlessly clean, kept that way in part by one of the hardest working housekeepers, Sumitra, that I have ever seen. The staff head, Rajesh, and his assistants, Raj Kumar and Ram, who also multitask with cooking, greet me every morning with a warm welcoming. They all will make you feel like you are part of their family. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, off a busy street, and conveniently located near the touristy Thamel area. The rooms are spotlessly clean, modern, rather upscale, but very economical. The hotel does not have a restaurant but provides a GREAT breakfast that is way beyond what they call a ”continental breakfast” that one would get in America. Freshly cooked to each guest, it includes eggs however you like them (I loved the omelet!), freshly cut fruit, veggies, potatoes, toast with butter & jam, juice, & coffee or tea. And there is a restaurant right next door for other meals. I had never stayed at the Lakhey Hotel before, but I can highly recommend it, and I will surely return in the future. Enjoy your stay ... you won't regret it!!!

This is probably the best hotel in Nagarkot. The facilities are also relatively good. The hotel has a buffet dinner, and you can also eat potatoes from Mustang, which are really delicious. The swimming pool was not used as it was too cold and a bunch of happy Nepalis enjoyed the pool very much. I didn't see the Himalayas due to the weather, but the scenery is still good. (While visiting the hotel, I strayed into the hotel staff walkway, which is also a place where garbage is piled up. It is really smelly. It is the smelliest smell I have ever smelled in my life. It is recommended that the hotel set up road signs to prevent guests from entering by mistake)

The Magnificent Hotel is an outstanding value for money. It is in great location, within walking distance of Asan Bazar, Durbar Square and the lively streets in the Thamel district. The hotel is on a safe street with restaurants, grocery store and even security agents. The hotel is clean and in good condition. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is comfortable, relaxing and breezing. The rooms are clean and comfortable. All communication for reservations or special request was perfect. However, what truly made the difference was the professional and caring staff. All were helpful, spoke multiple languages and proactive in providing help. One example is Kritika, who was absolutely exceptional, with a consistent positive attitude. She helped to explain the local riding sharing App inDrive. She helped me with the local cellphone provider Ncell. Help arranged laundry service and other useful information. Also Rajesh, the bar man was helpful to suggest local dishes. More importantly he was kind and interesting to discuss with. Finally, Ganga the manager was absolutely exceptional to ensure all was well organized and inspiring his staff. I had the occasion to speak with him many times and it was very enjoyable. We stayed in a Deluxe Family Suite room with two separate rooms, good air conditioning and shower and comfortable bed. Highly recommended

There’s a mini-mall / restaurant area next to it. Even if not staying there, go to eat and have drinks. There’s a lovely library upstairs, and it is a truly beautiful property amidst the chaos of the street. No noise distractions at all.
The staff were so inviting and I was able to meet my tour guide there since he frequents the dining spots next door. There is just a natural feel of Nepal at these villas, for solo, friends, or couples. Many expat travelers in the city. I did a city tour with Bibi Funyal +977 9851051615 who also works with Future Citizens Nepal. Even though he mainly does mountain treks, he knew all the places within this hotel area to best explore. I hope they collaborate a package for future travels. The staff was very accommodating to helping me understand the cash system, tips, drivers, etc. It rained while there, and this villa is a vacation in its own.

MMH RONYThey are very welcoming, and the reception staff was awesome. They accept international visa card. Every floor have a nice balcony for gossiping, eating coffee and smoking. With this budget, best hotel.

2. Curtains are very thin so in the morning you can't sleep in the sunlight.
3. The doors and windows are very old, that's why if someone is talking outside of the room you will hear everything and maybe they also hear you.
4. They just provide tissue and soap, they didn’t provide toothbrush, toothpaste, or shampoo. So if you booked this hotel keep this with you.
5. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, so if you don't like the stairs, is it not for you and you can talk to the hotel before booking for the 2nd floors room.

MMarkOur group stayed at the Oasis Hotel before and after our trek to Everest Base Camp. The rooms and the service we fantastic. We stored our bags at the hotel when we went on the EBC trek. Because of weather and the Dashain Festival, we rescheduled our trek to go day later than originally planned. A member of our group came down with Dengue fever on the trek, so we had to return to Kathmandu two days early. Tulsi, the hotel manager, was incredibly helpful and was able to find us rooms to accommodate the changes.
Tulsi and the staff at the hotel were very engaging, looked for ways to be of service, and always greeted us warmly. The hotel’s location is within easy walking distance to the shops in Thamel, in addition to having a lot good restaurants and cultural sites nearby. Our group was consistently impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, the free breakfast, and the friendliness of the staff. With the changes we had to our trek schedule, we really appreciated Tulsi and his staff taking care of us. We will definitely stay here when make the return trip to tackle the Everest Base Camp trek again.

GGuest UserWe have had an incredible stay at Holiday Hostel from start to finish, staff are great in many ways from welcoming us into the hostel to spending a lot of time with helping us to plan our months stay in Nepal. We have arranged and booked the ABC treck, Chitwan safari (prices were good compared to other companies we found) and volunteering at Maya Unviverse, a place we hadn’t heard of before coming to Nepal and thanks to Madam we had a fantastic time living and helping out with the kids and the school.
Location is great, there is a really nice rooftop bar that serves great food and drinks, make sure to try the most delicious milk tea!
Rooms are great, comfy and quite considering how busy Thamal road can get. We stayed here twice, both at the beginning and at the end of our trip in both the dorms and private room and both options are clean and comfy. We even kept some of our luggage at the hostel for around 3 weeks while we went and explored Nepal and collected it at the end with no issues at all. We also received a very thoughtful gift from Holiday hostel for completing the ABC treck, such a nice gesture. Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again if ever back in Katmandu.

JJazTKing bed and balcony with lovely view of the city. The spa below is awesome at a good price of NPR1500 for 60min ayurvedic massage. There’s many other massages like swedish, deep tissue etc. Friendly staff service, airport pickup at a fee of NPR1300 or usd12. Only down side is the room is dark and the shower and shampoo is just simple soap so don’t expect spa smell types haha. 10min walk to Thamel centre with a junction thats hard to cross so follow the locals to cross will be the safest.

Swimming pool is totally disappointment. Better to shut down, than keep running and not swimmable, waist of energy. The water is dirty, no star at all.
The lobby, the room and Ghurka bar are still great.
2 power shutdowns in 1 day, I believe they are struggling with power shortages due to dark lounges.
Breakfast was so so, coffee or tea should be not a challenge to serve first, sometimes took half of meal before they come. Many Tables are not stable and aligned, egg can easily roll over to other side. Atleast 3 tables on my experience.
Room is comfortable, nice bed and always fresh linen. Only noisy from AC , maintenance team came twice on my room to fix, though transfer was offered on my last 2 days.
Managers should not standing in buffet line, either they should help the line staffs or directing the team, talking business in public is not of our guests concern.
Front desk Trainee, has good presence, I thought first he is manager.
A lot can be improved and polished, the hotel has a great potential, nice design, great facilities and great staffs. I wish that management should look all themselves and review those small details.
