I am surprised by all previous negative reviews. Stayed here for 3 nights. Room was super clean, check-in was very smooth. Hotel staff was very helpful and food was very good @ restaurant located in 1st floor. Enjoyed their spa on top floor. Over all my stay here was very pleasant and highly recommended.

Our family stayed in room no 404 it’s totally disgusting very bad hospitality nothing in room no telephone service no internet nothing in bathroom even nobody coming for (3 days )for housekeeping whole room smells complaints so many times but no response so many kitchen appliances in room but no body come all day it’s too bad do not stay there

I stayed here once in 2019, and again in fall 2021 - and hope to return in 2022! My stay in 2019 was nice, but since then the hotel has undergone a major renovation, added a cafe, and incorporated a massage and spa center - making it an even better place to stay now. On arrival in Kathmandu for the 2021 trip, my group had to quarantine in this hotel for 7 days, but the free wifi, access to the cafe, and the provided meals helped our time there pass quickly and pleasantly. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and I really enjoyed our chats with the owner, Ram.

The service is what sets hotel tradition apart from other hotels in the area. The staff are all very polite, friendly and helpful in showing me around Kathmandu. The room i had was spacious, the double glazed windows means it was quiet and still very central to all the fun in Thamel. But the highlight for me was the bathroom. The shower is like being in steamy hot rain! A pleasure to go in after a big day out. A big special thanks to the manager Ram, he was such a big help to me and very professional. Also the spa treatment is well worth trying.

Hotel Tradition and Spa is simply a Gem. I had observed that all staff were equally service oriented well mannered and never hesiteted to fullfill even small request made by me or the other guests.Wonderful service, specious neat and clean room. Comfortable bed, excellent food, perfect location and the outatanding hospitality.I should specially mention the Managing Director of Hotel, Mr.Ram Puri who was always talking to guests and getting feedbacks. He himself never forget to chat with me in many instances. Overall, my stay was amazing and I would highly recommend a visit if what you are looking for a memorable trip. This is among the best hotels that I have visited.

Stay here! I'm an American geologist and have been coming to Thamel for 20 years. The entire hotel is impressive. In particular the bathrooms are modern and spacious. Hard to find in Nepal. It is located on a relatively quiet street despite it being located in the heart of Nepal. The massage and spa facility is icing on the cake. The rates are reasonable. You will not be disappointed. Almost forgot, the attached coffee shop has the best Americanos brewed by two of the nicest ladies. Lastly, make sure you meet the boss, Ram. He will ensure that your stay is what you were hoping for. Attached photos represent some tasty dishes I sampled.

Hotel very well located in Thamel. Refurbished with a massage spa area. The staff takes great care, and the director, Ram, is charming and efficient, and can organize your stay in Nepal in the best conditions. Excellent value for money. In addition, Ram is an endearing, caring and committed character, he is an active member of the Keep Nepal association, which works with the most deprived Nepalese. I recommend without hesitation
