Kathmandu Aagantuk Hotel

Miscommunication on airport pickup. I sent message via What’s App. No response until I arrived by taxi to hotel. Not a good start. Staff very accommodating. Room not as pictured.

Great hotel in an excellent part of Kathmandu and not too far from the airport. Rooms were a good size and very clean. Very quiet. Excellent restaurant downstairs. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Good and helpful staffs. The location is moderately good - beside Thamel and lots of restaurant around. The garden area is good too. But the room is too small, difficult to move around. The condition is shabby and dark, that does not match with the pictures shown while booking. Bed is not comfortable at all. Passable for 1 night, not more than that.

The hotel is located in the heart of the tourist area, there are a lot of shops and restaurants in walking distance from here. Also most tour companies will pick up from this hotel . The hotel can also help arrange tours/activities for you, as well as airport transfers or pickup and drop-off services elsewhere. They helped arrange my 'Flight over Everest' experience, and the experience was awesome. Just one road over is the Thamel Bazar , which are little streets of shops , where you can buy souvenirs or just shop for yourself. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Just note there is no elevator , so if you get a room on the upper floors, you'll have stairs to climb. I was on the 4th , but it made for great views from there. They have a wide variety on offer for their room service menu. The food both at the hotel restaurant and room service was excellent and affordable. The hotel restaurant has seating inside and also in the garden, which is really relaxing. The staff here are friendly , professional, and attentive . They are always willing to assist and answer questions one might have. Note: Housekeeping is not a daily service. Should you require it daily or on a specific day , you'll need to make a request. They are a relatively new hotel, but their customer service is excellent, and I would definitely recommend staying here.
