If you want to experience the local life, including the nightlife, like me, this is definitely the best choice, not only because this hotel is the center of the nightlife nearby, but also because it is convenient to go to Tamir everywhere! Even if you are tired of other meals, you can find authentic Chinese restaurants on foot. More importantly, the staff and the boss here are really friendly, helpful and cute! As shown in the picture, after leaving the store, I left my bag here because I still had a lot of time to walk around. Although it was kept for me for free, it was still very careful to help me lock my luggage in a room alone! When I was about to leave, the boss treated me to a whiskey for free, just like an old friend (I ran out of cigarettes and got a cigarette for free) In short, this comment is sincere. If you only know a little English, it’s okay to choose here. If you only know Chinese, don’t worry too much. Their front desk brother knows a little Chinese, which is enough to meet your needs! (By the way, I saw a cleaning lady cleaning every day, and the mineral water given in the room was two large bottles, which is beyond your imagination)

Wonderful rooftop where you meet the nicest people and relax! I love all the staff, they help you out with local tips and you can directly book great trekking tours with them. The beds are comfy and I feel very good here. Will definitely come back whenever I am in Kathmandu!

Great staff, so comfortable and everyone was very helpful and friendly. Located in a very nice part of Thamel, this really is a bit of an oasis. There is a nice rooftop garden to enjoy tea/coffee, beers or even food from the restaurant. The bed was the best I had found in Nepal - with most hotels and teahouses having very hard mattresses - this was super comfy and thick. The owner Sabin can also organise your trekking and is very knowledgeable of places to go. I would definitely stay again.

Comfortable, friendly staff, bring ear plugs. Don't take the breakfast option as its not served until after 9am and at Delima's the foods not great. There are plenty of places nearby to get a good breakfast

Hotel location is in proper thamel, all the shops located in this area. Hotel cleaniness is also good. Rooms are small is a cons. Better to book directly at hotel for good discount.

Amazing but short for me, when I go to vacation in Nepal arrived Kathmandu airport my wife came picked up me so we took taxi and went to the Hotel Himalayan Oasis in thamel which is amazing welcoming and center area . Thamel was very busy place but hotel is nice and clean, hot water, breakfast was delicious. Staffs are very friendly. Definitely come back next vacation. And recommend.
