I really liked this whole hotel complex.
There’s a mini-mall / restaurant area next to it. Even if not staying there, go to eat and have drinks. There’s a lovely library upstairs, and it is a truly beautiful property amidst the chaos of the street. No noise distractions at all.
The staff were so inviting and I was able to meet my tour guide there since he frequents the dining spots next door. There is just a natural feel of Nepal at these villas, for solo, friends, or couples. Many expat travelers in the city. I did a city tour with Bibi Funyal +977 9851051615 who also works with Future Citizens Nepal. Even though he mainly does mountain treks, he knew all the places within this hotel area to best explore. I hope they collaborate a package for future travels. The staff was very accommodating to helping me understand the cash system, tips, drivers, etc. It rained while there, and this villa is a vacation in its own.

I think this is the best place to stay in Kathmandu. The hotel has its own market/bazaar which is so cool to walk through. Very peaceful and quiet.
Local food was quite delicious.

It was my first time to visit Kathmandu, Nepal. I booked a heritage suite on Ctrip. After checking in, I felt that the house had a very good environment. It was a villa. Although the hotel was not very big, it had all the facilities, including a gym and a swimming pool. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was a very historic heritage hotel. A century-old building with average service. The room is dark and damp. It is far from the city and the transportation is inconvenient. The breakfast is at the level of a three-star hotel. In short, there are more and better choices in Kathmandu. Don’t make yourself miserable by staying here.
