A Hidden Gem in the Heart of the City!
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Friends Home. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome — warm smiles, attentive service, and a genuine sense of hospitality that you don't often find these days.
The rooms were very comfortable, with necessary amenities. The bed was especially cozy, and I appreciated the little details like bottled water, fast Wi-Fi, and excellent air conditioning.
The location is ideal — close to key attractions yet tucked away enough to offer peace and quiet after a long day out. Breakfast was fresh & delicious.
What really stood out was the staff's willingness to go the extra mile. Whether it was arranging transport, offering local tips, or just checking in to see if everything was perfect — they truly care about their guests.
Highly recommend Hotel Friends Home to anyone visiting Kathmandu. It's affordable, welcoming, and feels like a home away from home. Can’t wait to return!

The location is in the busy city of Thamel, which is convenient for various tourist activities. The staff is friendly and the stay is smooth and pleasant. The hygiene of the room price is also very good. It would be even better if the towels and bath towels that have been used for many years can be replaced with hairy ones.

The manager and other young staff are more than very likable.
They will cater to your specific meal needs.
The shower, hairdryer and kettle are easy to use, and the toilet and hot water are problem-free.
It's in a quiet location just a little way off the main road.
You can't beat this price. I recommend it.

In a small alley, the environment is relatively quiet. The room is similar to a domestic express hotel, clean and comfortable. The towels and quilts do feel a bit old and should be changed. Overall not bad
