I was originally in another Hotel for a couple of nights before moving to Hotel Ganesh Himal. Everything about that decision was good!!! I stayed in a roof top room for $25 per night, plus a couple bucks in taxes, so about $28. The view is killer especially with a few beers!! There is a restaurant and huge garden area with loads of seating for large groups. The food is sooo good! And they sell a limited variety of awesome local beers to go with it!! (Sizzling chicken Momo's are the bomb) There's a water bubbler in reception & you can fill yr container as much as you like. The Hotel is literally round the corner from tonnes of shops, restaurants, bars but that corner is yr buffer from the madness, so when you want to get away from the crazy that Nepal can be it's a great option. Very close, but far enough away. 😉 I did Pokhura & Lumbini & then came back to the roof at Hotel Ganesh Himal before I flew out. The staff are so genuine, kind and engaging, without being intrusive. The bed was awesome with fluffy doona and the water was hot. Not lukewarm. Hot! I will definitely go back there. Value for money✅ Service✅ Cleanliness✅ Beers on the roof✅✅✅😁
