Hotels near Airport Ground in Kathmandu

It is 8 minutes from Kathmandu Airport. It is located in a hotel dense area(?). The facilities are clean and friendly. I stayed comfortably for one night.

My wife and I visited Nepal for 3 weeks and we stayed at hotel hema for our last week. In my experience this hotel is definitely a great place to stay. This place was the most helpful! No matter if you’re starting your journey in the middle of it or just finishing. The staff here is helpful and accommodating 24 hours a day seven days a week. But most of all you won’t find a place more personable than this. Saroj, the owner of this hotel keeps his office door open during business hours and is extremely helpful as he and his friends go out of their way to make sure that your plans are met in the best way. To put it simply, no matter what your plans are while you’re there run them past Saroj. If you don’t, you’ll be sorry. The whole idea of this place is that you have an insider to give you the very best experience. This place is a must stay for anybody who’s visiting a Nepal, I wish we would’ve stayed here first. When we go back, we will definitely stay here again if nothing else Saroj has become a friend and now we won’t go to Nepal without a stay here.

The staff were lovely, attentive and super helpful - I arrived at midnight and they dealt with technology issues with payment without a word of complaint and were incredibly lovely in the morning with breakfast as well. However I’m unsure if the room had been properly cleaned before I arrived as there was a half used water bottle still in the room and some mould on the shower curtain. However those issues were nothing compared with how lovely and helpful the staff were - and the breakfast in the morning was great as well.

The room was clean, and the staff was friendly and very accommodating. There manager, Vinod, contiunually went above and beyond to make sure everything with my stay with them was perfect. I would highly recommend to anyone traveling Nepal to stay here.

10min away on foot from the airport, perfect for a short stay to catch the next flight. Very funktional, personnel very helpful and kind. Breakfast is also good, we had the Indian breakfast.

The service attitude is very good. I can speak a little Chinese. The breakfast is good. You can also add some egg rolls. The taste is good. The room is clean and very quiet. It is very close to the airport.

It's a bit far from the airport to walk and too close to take a taxi, but I took a taxi for 300 rupees. They say it's a new building, but I'm not sure. The shower room is somewhat narrow. However, the bedding was so comfortable that I slept well. It's great because you can order and eat breakfast at any time that's convenient for you. The staff are friendly and great. It's small but great for the price I plan to use this place every time I come to Nepal.

Sometimes lack of information when kept waiting for travel agency to turn up. Also I had booked for the hotel to pick me up at the airport. There was a man with a board with my name. He asked me for $25 dollars in front of the hotel driver saying it was for the taxi. It wasn’t at all. The hotel driver should have told me not to pay him!

Stayed in this hotel for a night. Located in convenient Place for travelers as its just laying opposite of airport. Approximately 2-3 minutes of drive. Easy accessible. They have also free of cost shuttle service for hotel guests (got to know upon checkout only) and avail this facility upon checkout. Quality of food (ordered room service) and breakfast (dine in) was awesome. Server at the restaurant was very decent and hospitable. Room quality is competent enough. Staffs at the reception and room service are friendly and helpful (upon request). could be even better if someone would have anticipate to help with my luggage upon check in. I didn’t ask for though! Overall, nice budget hotel for solo or couple travelers. I do recommend this place for everyone. Thank you entire crews!
