Limneon Resort & Spa

This was my third visit to this lovely spot. It hasn’t changed much. The location is still amazing and the staff does a good job of taking care of the guests. There are certain rooms that are bigger than others and a lot more comfortable if you can get those. a good night sleep nice and quiet, and close enough to everything. Did not use the pool and spa this time, but from prior visits, I can say that it was also lovely.
Andromeda Boutique Hotel

The perfect base for our trip to Kastoria. From the moment we stepped inside we were welcomed by the most immense hospitality we'd received on our trip to Greece (which for those who visit the region will know is an incredibly high standard). We were provided with a list of eateries in the city to explore at our leisure. The rooms include everything you need to enjoy your trip, including a minibar of beverages. Kastoria has some beautiful scenery, large houses and small squares. It's a hidden gem well worth a visit for those traveling up towards North Macedonia or Albania. The town has many supermarkets where you can stock up on Retsina, local and not so local. 😎 We look forward to experiencing Andromeda's hospitality again in the future!
Enastron View Hotel

The hotel is a villa located on the hillside, very quiet, about 9 minutes by car to the city center. The entire city scenery is panoramic, the morning sun shines on the lake, sparkling, and the lake view is extremely shocking

We don't (or shouldn't) visit remote corners of Greece and expect hotels to be like at international airports. Things should be a little rustic, but it also has style. Unlikely to visit/stay without a hire car but stand on your balcony and take in that view. My (rather basic) room (204) didn't lack charm . . . but it did lack plugs for the bath and basin. Can't have everything. Learn the meaning of 'relaxation' so that, if your breakfast isn't available until 8:30, that's extra time to have a coffee and enjoy the view. I speak less Greek than they speak English - that's because maybe not enough British holidaymakers know about Sidirochori. You come here to chill out, not get your knickers in a twist about the little things. If you have a mobility problem, expect LOTS of steps. I've stayed in hundreds and hundreds of hotels and, despite its (one or two) faults, I loved it. LOVED IT!
