The location is excellent. It is right at the center of the city just a few mins walk from the station as well as from all major tourist attractions like Friedrichsplatz, Orangerie, Markthalle and Grimmwelt. There are lot of restaurants and cafes nearby. The staff at the reception was very nice and friendly.

We were bicycle touring unsupported for two months in Germany and Switzerland. We stayed in hotels big and small. This hotel’s best feature is its proximity to the train station and restaurants. This hotel has the ambience of a hostel. Of the approximately 40 different hotels we stayed in, this is one of the two worst hotels. The positives: location to train station and restaurants, hotel room is plain but clean, water pressure in room was strong, breakfast buffet was simple but OK. The negatives: pregnant blonde woman at reception has a nasty attitude and has no concept of how to speak to the public who are paying her salary, reception open only limited hours. Bottom line- we would stay here again only if pregnant blonde haired lady didn’t work there anymore. Just don’t expect much in the way of this hotel’s accommodations. I recommend staying at one of the hotels closer to the train station.

Leider nicht zu empfehlen. Preis für das Gebotene absolut unangemessen. Um 05.30 morgens wird man vom Liefer-LkW des benachbarten Supermarktes geweckt, der mit viel Lärm auslädt. Mit geschlossenem Fenster schlafen geht auch nicht, weil es keine Klimaanlage gibt. Die Vorhänge sind zu kurz und zu schmal, sodass das Zimmer nicht vernünftig abgedunkelt werden kann. Kleines und veraltetes Badezimmer. Seit Jahrzehnten nichts renoviert. Matratzen aucch nicht bequem. Rezeption erst ab 12.00 besetzt.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 3. Stock. Größe war gut, Bad recht klein, aber ok. Alles war sauber. Das Stadthotel verströmt einen 50er/60er Jahre Charme, muss man mögen. Wir fanden es gut. Positiv bleibt zu erwähnen: * Personal perfekt - höflich, engagiert, aufmerksam.... * Zimmer sauber, Fenster halten im geschlossenen Zustand den Stadtlärm gut zurück * gute Matratzen * Zentrale Lage an der Treppenstraße * Auf Anfrage Parkplatz reservierbar im Hof (€ 10,-) * Umfangreiches, gutes, bodenständiges Frühstück (€12,-/Tag/Person) * KasselCard kann direkt an der Rezeption erworben werden * Nostalgisch schön: Ein Schutzputzautomat im Eingangsbereich Anregungen: * Zimmersafe wäre schön * Neben den Übergardinen wäre eine dünne Gardine schön. Man fühlt sich doch leicht beobachtet.

Gedateerd hotel met op de eenpersoonskamers een bed van 1 meter breed. Grenst aan plein waar vanaf 5.30 uur in de ochtend een supermarkt wordt bevoorraad met oorverdovend lawaai. Niet te doen, Warme kamer en het raam opendoen is geen optie gelet op de herrie.

Positif : très propre et bien situé, bon petit déjeuner. Négatif: très mauvaise isolation d une chambre à l' autre, bruyant dès qu on ouvre la fenêtre. Accueil tiède et horaires de réception peu clairs. Remarque déplacée " comme on vous l a expliqué à votre arrivée". Or a l'arrivée on ne nous a rien expliqué sur le Check Out... Ton pête sec peu approprié !

Waren für eine Nacht in Kassel, um den Weihnachtsmarkt und der Theaterkomödie einen Besuch abzustatten. Dazu wählten wir das Stadthotel, welches zentral gelegen ist. Wenn man vorher anruft, kann man auch einen Parkplatz bekommen (falls frei). Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, sowohl an der Rezeption als auch am Frühstück!!! Da können sich ganz viele mal ein Beispiel dran nehmen. Das Hotel ist eine Zeitreise in die 1990er Jahre. Es war noch akzeptabel, wirkt doch recht abgewohnt. Unterm Bett war viel Staub, die Zimmercouch voller Flecken. Dennoch im groben sauber. Aber ein zweites Handtuch wäre schon nett gewesen bzw Kissen. Für eine Nacht okay, länger eher nicht. Das Frühstück ist gut und es gibt genügend Auswahl, vor allem der Preis von 11€ überzeugt für das Gebotene.
