Sani Beach

Exceptional resort when it comes to location, staff, accommodation, entertainment, variety of restaurants and food, beach and sea. This was our 4th time coming back and it never disappoints. And even if it s difficult to choose one, as all restaurants are great, our favorite remains Psaroyianos, while for beach bar Bousoulas.

From the moment you arrive to the wave goodbye as you depart the Sani beach Hotel as well as the wider Sani resort is nothing short of phenomenal, the food, the customer service, the attention to detail is fantastic! Led by George Adam and Tamara Elbakidou the resort has gone from strength to strength over the almost 2 decades of which I have been lucky enough to visit! The resort although I am sure was full always maintains a level of calm and tranquility and the wide array of offerings cater to anyone, from families looking for action packed activities, people looking to enjoy the fitness offerings and of course the other amenities such as the Spa and theatre! Of course no great holiday is complete without amazing food and drink and I have been lucky enough to work at as well as dine at some of the worlds best restaurants, and I can truly say the resort offers some of the finest culinary delights you will find anywhere! An enormous array of restaurants, cuisines and dishes are expertly executed and you would find it impossible to not find something to love, notably I would point to the change of menu for dinner at Bousoulas which led by chef Christos Koufidis was exceptional and a must visit! Of course despite all of this it is the staff which make the experience truly magical, from the ever amazing Roman Zaleta who never fails to make guests laugh while equally being at the top of the game and delivering exceptional service; to the fantastic team at Ammos including Nikos and Aggeliki who time after time deliver faultless service, as I well know customers at any high end establishment can be difficult but the staff never fail to try to resolve any issues and put smiles on faces! It would also be amiss to not mention the amazing Macaroni restaurant in the marina led by the incredible Elena Jordan, who for years has offered amazing Italian cuisine and phenomenal service, and continues to routinely be a highlight of a holiday to Sani! If you have visited Sani before! Go again! If you are debating going! Make sure to do so! I would like to start from our arrival: Check in we were greeted and processed by Olga who was brilliant.  Grill: one of our favourite restaurants - Christos, George, Chris and Angela always go above and beyond.  They all welcomed us like old friends and nothing was too much trouble.  Ammos: Nickos, Teo, Marianne, Anna, Nino - again we were greeted like old friends.  Nickos ensured we got a table even if we hadn't booked and the views and atmosphere at Ammos is just heavenly.  Wine tasting experience - Silia was knowledgeable, friendly and patient.  We learned a lot from this event and ensured we promoted it to anyone we bumped in to.  Our old friend Yannis (deputy hotel manager) - just a joy to see him again.  Yannis managed to swap some restaurant reservations for us at last minute.  Yannis is always to hand and came to see us everyday to check in and ask how our stay was going.  We'd also like to mention Lena our conceirge whatapp contact.  We had a couple of room issues - nothing major just the shower door had slipped off its runner and the bed was a twin rather than a double bed.  Lena attended to these immediately and from then on checked in on us everyday, even coming to see us one evening - it was great putting a name to a face.  Not forgetting reservations - Alex, Vlad and Andrei - we were very lucky to get a room upgrade for the last 2 days and we are always humbled by gestures like this.  We had to joy to meet Kennedy on the beach and by the pool, he always put a smile on our faces and cooled us down with his milkshakes.  And last but by no means least another old friend Pascal - lovely to see him promoted much deserved and a new face, Chrysa - the hostess in the Grill, a beautiful smile and a kind soul.  Every year we say we will venture to other parts of the world but each year we always come back to Sani - it feels like our 2nd home, our happy place.
