You should not come here if you have mobility problems as it’s 72 steps from the rooms at the top next to reception down to the beach! Some hand rails exist but not everywhere Ie Steps to the public toilet are poor and there are no hand rails there Toilets are 2/3rds up the stairs (53 steps from the beach) and The Bar restaurant and breakfast room about 1/3rd up There is also a very steep walk out of the hotel to the town. There is a short cut to the town opposite the hotel - about a 4 min walk-but it Is a much steeper path and it’s in 2 sections - I did it a few times in the end but felt ill the first time I went as it’s about a 60 degree angle of steepness. There is another route in though -turn right at the road and carry on up the hill-Turn left then carry on into town about 10 min walk Nb The town is very busy in high season. It’s really pretty and it’s just a few roads - but Don’t think it’s a sleepy quiet town -It’s not -It’s only quiet in the morning There is a Pedestrian area in the town on the right at the end of the road in. Take a strong torch- for your walk back as it’s very dark when sun has gone out. Staff are a credit to the hotel Aleena/ Malini/ Apostilous/ Julia/ Kostas Sophia / Nico/ George- also cleaners and cooks Recommend you Go 1/2 board as food in the evening is really good - it’s held outside on a terrace on the opposite side to the bar area.NB you Can get wasps here especially if you are eating meat or fish. Quite a lot of cats too some with baby’s- they want fish or meat scraps . Evening meal is 5-30 to 7-30 You Always 3 set starters (u get them all) lovely Greek dishes like fried courgettes with Tsatsiki or tomato and bread salad with pesto .Then a choice of one of 2 mains and an afters. BBQ night on Sunday is really great - Greek salad -chips -Tsatsiki- meatballs- sausage -2-kebabs- pork chop- pittas -onions .Fish options were really good as was pasta night and the baked in the oven dishes . Drinks in the hotel are about the same price as in town €18 euros for 2 g and Ts - €7 draft beer. Bar was closing at 8 pm when we were here but u can still sit there as there is a Cooling breeze here .There are also sofas and a library at the far end of the breakfast area. Seems generally more expensive here than other places we have visited in Greece. They do host weddings here and that might mean an area of the beach is corded off/ or the bar is out of bounds /Or breakfast lunch or tea is a bit crowded. Nb they also have a sister hotel in town apparently. So overflow guests might be there. 3 weddings booked this summer . Sea is beautiful It’s usually Clear so great for snorkelling Lots of rocks / stones though .At shore there is about 10 foot of stones to get in to sea then there is sand then Big shelves of rocks -When you get to about 5/6 foot deep it’s clear of rocks Then gets quite deep . U really need beach shoes ! On our last day there were some jellyfish- staff said they were not poisonous though. Nb the

I had a read a number of reviews, particularly people mentioning the many steps. Well, as an amputee in my 60's I found no problems, yes a few more hand rails might help people who feel less confident on steps, but please do not let it put you off staying here. Like many posts have said, the staff are unbelievable, Sofia, is so lovely, efficient and discreet. Julie and Nico who work the bar and restaurant were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Julie's smile is infectious, she even brought us some warm spinach pies to take on our early journey to the airport. And Kosta, well he is such a gentleman, makes you feel special and gives you time. Thanks for the advice about growing a good olive tree, though we can't compete with your 50 or 60 trees. We booked a special meal on the beach, please, if you get chance and want to celebrate a special occasion, please do it. The food and service was amazing, nothing too much bother. Poor Kosta must have felt exhausted by the end of the evening, constantly up and down steps to the kitchen, serving us on the beach, wow. The beach is adequate and like people mention, take beach shoes. There were plenty of beds to choose from. We decided to hire a car for a day, Sofia arranged the booking, so it was so easy. The staff gave us ideas of places to see, we headed to Sani and found the most amazing beach. all sand and you could walk out some 50 metres and it was only waist deep, no facilities bus so glad we found it. Incidentally, we didn't find anywhere as nice as Afitos, which is a very pretty town with lots of bars and shops. We only went into town twice as we were so happy at the hotel and the food was amazing. To the owners of the hotel. You have a beautiful hotel, in a great position but its your staff that sets it apart from the rest. We DEFINATELY will be back. Thanks you White Suites.

On arrival we were given a warm welcome from Sofia who showed us around and gave us lots of important information for our stay. She was always on hand when we needed her and was able to sort out any queries we had. We saw a boat trip advertised and were unsure how to book it but Sofia soon sorted this out for us also arranging a taxi pick up. Our room was very spacious and comfortable and the view was amazing. We love the beach and sea and for us this location was ideal. It was only a short walk to the village although the hills were a challenge! Staff were very helpful and did their best to please us. My daughter who is a vegetarian was catered for .

This was our second visit to white suites having stayed for two weeks last year. We were welcomed by Sofia who is always on hand to assist with any aspects you require such as organising taxi’s,excursions or any other bookings. Nothing is too much trouble. Our stay was absolutely fantastic mainly down to the staff who are very friendly, helpful and go out of their way to help. Juli is always on hand at breakfast and into the afternoon . She is always smiling and again cannot do enough for you. At lunchtime and into the evening Kosta takes over and he is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and if you don’t like the set menu he will sort you out with something you will like. George nikos and apostolos serve in the bar and bring your drinks to the beach. These guys are lovely and are credit to the hotel. These cleaners are also great and do a great job. I cannot fault this hotel and can only recommend if you want a nice relaxing stress free time. Yes there are steps and a good clime to the town but the location is fabulous with it being right on the beach.

We have just returned from a week at the White Suites Resort (couple 70yrs).We had a room with a super view ! Worth the upgrade Room111.Private balcony not overlooked. Spacious room and great Aircon .The staff are superb! Special mentions to the brilliant Sophia at reception ... Uli a fabulous pocket rocket at Breakfast and in the Lime bar.and finally Costas who made sure every evening meal was special .Thank you for making this a memorable holiday! The restaurant and bar have great views of the sea and moonrises .We missed not having a hotel pool ,but the sea was warm and inviting ...Be sure to take sea shoes, as it's quite tricky getting in due to moving sand , stones and rocks There are sea urchins, but I never saw any .Be aware of the location .It's very steep and a good workout going into the village (amazing at night) and down to the beach. If you have trouble walking it's not for you.Lots of steps down to the beach! Only downside was the bar wasn't open to guests in the evening .Don't understand this, as it's the most beautiful setting and a lovely place to enjoy a cool beer, great cocktail or chilled glass of wine ....and not everyone wants to go up to the village every night. We loved our stay and the couples we met there!

Beautiful hotel and set in a fantastic location over looking the beach. Staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you and nothing was too much trouble. They did everything to make sure you had what you wanted. Don’t understand the negative reviews, our room was always cleaned and always had clean towels and water put in the fridge. Food was lovely, lots of choice and we actually liked not having an English breakfast as the selection and quality of food was beautiful. Evening meals were amazing and very Greek and Kosta in charge of the restaurant was very friendly and if there was something you didn’t like he would get something else for you. We had such a relaxing 10 days didn’t want to leave! All the staff work so hard and non stop on the beach bringing drinks or food. Because it is a small hotel it felt a very personal experience. In the evenings we walked up to Afytos village which was delightful and lovely bars and restaurants (although we didn’t eat there as the food at the hotel was so lovely and big portions!) I would highly recommend a stay there❤️

I stayed here with my mum and sister for a week’s holiday and we all had a lovely time. We arrived very late and discovered we’d accidentally been booked into a 2 person room, and as the place is so small there wasn’t anyone to sort it until the morning - which meant a night on the sofa for me! But the next day Sofia at reception was so apologetic and made it more than right for us by offering a free upgrade to a pool suite. The room was gorgeous with a perfect sea view and a lovely private pool. Beds were comfy, air con and shower worked well and cleaning was totally up to standard so not sure what some of the other reviews are about! The hotel itself is stunning - so quaint, calm and picturesque which is exactly what we wanted. It’s so small and perfect for relaxing. The staff are all amazing - everyone is so friendly, smiley and helpful. The restaurant is great, varied options every night and the fish was especially amazing. The private beach was beautiful and plenty of comfy beds, so no scrambling at 6am to reserve one! My only negative is that the beach bar closes at 6pm so the drinks offering is very limited in the evening - the sun wasn’t down until nearly 9, so would’ve spent a lot more money on cocktails if they’d been available. It is VERY steep to get up into town - I thought the reviews were dramatic but it is actually really intense in the heat (and I am a fit and healthy 28 year old!). That said it’s well worth venturing out as the town is so lovely and has some great bars and restaurants that are open very late. Our way around it was to book a taxi to get us to the top of the town, and then walk back downhill. If you’re thinking of booking I’d 100% recommend this hotel and will be trying to come back ASAP. This is not something the hotel can control, but it does get extremely hot in summer and if we hadn’t been upgraded to the pool suite I think we’d have struggled with only the beach available. The water is lovely but you need to wear shoes and the heat can get unbearable down there so something to consider - if you can afford to it’s well worth paying extra to have a pool.
