Best resort in Zanzibar that gives you 5 star treatment ! Absolutely loved their service & warm welcome. Stuff is super nice & kind. If you need any assistance they are kind enough to help you. Their breakfast & dinner buffet is amazing! There’s always music playing + a live band. So many activities to enjoy at the resort. I will choose Sea Cliff resort again!

Jambo Jambo! Location: The location is great, not too far from the airport and sight seeing areas like Stone Town, Prison Island and a multitude of Spice farms. The resort is located on the Ocean side; however, does not have a beach, other than the beach near the golf course at walking distance. Atmosphere: Tranquil and hospitable... The resort is not extremely big and far enough from the nearest town/city to relax and enjoy. The staff is amazing and very able to give you that "African" hospitality Room: The room we were assigned (312) was spacious and had a high level of cleanliness. The Housekeeping staff (Among them Agnes and Dennis) in Building C was incredible and catered to all our needs. If we needed anything extra we just left a little not on the bed and it was arranged. Restaurants and Bars: We spend most of our time at the Mangapwani restaurant (all day dining) and the Mini Golf Bar/Restaurant. The Mangapwani restaurant mainly served buffet breakfast/lunch/dinner; however, on "slow" days an a-la-carte lunch was served. The buffets changed on daily basis and we never got bored with the food during our 11 night stay. The food was of good quality and the Chilean Head Chef (am ashamed to say I forgot his name) was always at the buffet and catered to every extra/special request we had. On my husband's birthday the resort arranged a birthday cake, which was delivered by the singing and dancing waiting staff (both in Swhahili and English)... Although all waiting staff were fantastic we want to name a few very special ones: Paineko, Adam, Happy, Basil, Marizen, and Deborah (at Mangapwani) and Frank (at the Mini Golf bar) Spa: The resort has the wonderful Zuri Spa, where we had a lovely treatment with locally sourced products.. and that for very reasonable prices One little side note: We had booked an all-inclusive package; however, we were still asked to sign off lunch and diner tickets. (bit confusing since we were provided with a special wristband) It would be better to just have to sign for those items that do incur an extra cost. On the bright side... The invoice at the end of our stay was 100% correct. For our entire stay we were well looked after and our preferences were quickly know by the resort employees. It was nice to see that Steve (I believe he is the operations manager) was making regular rounds and was very approachable.
