The hotel is not huge which i loved because the facilities and service feel very personalized. The team is very friendly especially Ally and Norah! I loved the seafood grill a la carte Lebanese restaurant. The beach was beautiful and the see reaf guided hike was very enjoyable. The room was very well kept and comfortable. The next door village has nice local food and products.

The room is nice and well arranged,the environment is good and relaxing am giving 10/10. The food was delicious and they have different options. Nice beach ,the beach and the water is clean. Your employees ,they are so kind and welcoming I appreciate one of your employees her name is Glory. Thanks a lot for your kindness

It is a beautiful place, big rooms.The workers are welcoming and nice! I love the fact that they make up for any mistakes, very satisfying. Hussein, is the best photographer! I loved my stay there. I will definitely visit with the family. Cheers!!!

Lux Marijani Zanzibar is a wonderful resort. Stayed in late May 2024 with my wife and daughter. The resort room, gardens, swimming pool, restaurants, food and and facilities are all amazing. The beach is stunning, you can walk right out to the reef during low tide and swim during high tide. Special thanks Aditya who took our booking and promptly replied to all our email queries. It was our 20th wedding anniversary and Aditya had arranged a wonderful dinner on the beach for us which was a really special dining experience. That evening Martin from the F&B team ensured everything went smoothly. Saf from Reservations also took time out to speak to us to ensure things all good. Issack from the F&B team was very helpful and had arranged breakfast to go for me and my family. Fausta also had arranged one morning so that my wife could try the indian breakfast. The food is excellent by the chefs and their teams. The Reception team, F&B team, house keeping teams were all exceptional , always willing to help you and ensuring everything is okay. Norah, Fatma, Naftali, Yasmin, Haroun, Baraka, Martin, Lucy plus many more were all brilliant. Thanks to Mubarak from water activity bure who took me and my family out to the reef to show us starfish, sea cucumber, sea urchins, and explain about seaweed farming. Abdul at the swimming pool was also great and had arranged water polo and swimming gymnastics which was fun. Lux Marijani is an exceptional resort and it has an amazing team behind it. Where do I start with Lux Marijani… this was the best place I could have ever booked! From start to finish I could not fault anything. Booked Zanzibar as a destination as I wanted a special place to propose to my partner and Lux made it extra special and truly unforgettable. Check in was fairly simple and our bags were taken to our beachfront deluxe room, the view from our room was beautiful… white sandy beach and turquoise water. We were lucky enough to travel during ‘off season’ but this was a blessing, not a lot of other guests meant at times we had the pool all to ourselves and lots of staff which meant we were looked after very well. The facilities are all great: reception with coffee counter, pool, gym, restaurants, bars and spa. The chefs did a great job and kept us more than satisfied with a great menu, at times even made us something from scratch as we were vegetarians, there is also a special Indian menu which provided a welcome change! The entertainment team did a great job with activities in the pool as well as beach soccer, coconut demonstrations and a cocktail class. The team went above and beyond in creating a special beach dinner which was the scene for the proposal and even recommended a photographer who was great and captured our special moment. The real stars of Lux are the staff… the whole team were available at all times and so welcoming, always had a smile on their faces and made us feel like celebrities! Special mentions go out to Khamis, Haji, Sharif, Abdul and Chef Bilal! I could probably mention everyone to be honest as they were all amazing! Also to Sumit who being the GM was still seen walking around and conversation with the guests, it’s a real breath of fresh air to speak to someone who is so down to earth! I normally do not visit the same place twice when there is so much to see in the world but will definitely return here! I would recommend Lux Marijani to anyone and everyone and it truly will be ‘Hakuna Matata’ Asante Sana everyone at Lux Marijani!!!

Probably one of the best hotel experiences I have had. We stayed in the Chairman’s suite…which had a private pool, sit out and separate beach access - perfect for a couple that wants some privacy. Staff were extremely hospitable and concerned about our welfare. The beach was extremely clean, with little to no loiterers. We felt safe, taken care of and comfortable. It was an all round, very pleasant experience. We would stay here again and again.

Lux Marijani, was nothing short of beautiful. Great service , Great rooms, Amazing food and lovely people. We stayed 5 days at Lux and enjoyed each and everyday. Look out for Ally , he’s an amazing lad. Definitely going back and would definitely recommend 🙌🏼

Amazing stuff , Fawsta , Fatma , Martin ,and Yasmine were amazing . Place is clean Goor serves Nice vibes I like arabic food and chef Bilal cooking was good . Special the kabab , other kitchen is amazing as well . The room is so clean and the swimming pool is clean water
