The most fabulous stop. Excellent service friendly attentive staff. So relaxing beautiful rooms. Food cooked to perfection. Nothing was a problem. Love ❤️

So, we should start with the price - $280 for a two-level room with sea view. When choosing a place we relied on photos and reviews. Photos correspond to reality, but we were cruelly deceived in the level of service. 1. Water in the room is given only at arrival, further for money or go to dial in the cafe in an empty bottle 2. If you want to pay the bill in the restaurant card, you need to go to the reception. To understand the order of prices, coffee in the restaurant costs 5$, the average cost of a meal - 15$. 3- We tried to check out of the hotel early, butpersogallm were taken all possible measures to ensure that we could not do it without significant losses. 1 day they delayed the decision, because there was no person making the decision, 2 day it was impossible to make a refund to the card, because the bank did not work, and also offered to reimburse the cost of the transfer, which themselves organized free of charge. 4. Room cleaning does not meet expectations. 5. The hotel does not have its own beach and place for bathing (the coastline has big stones and it is dangerous to swim at high tide). To the nearest beach 10 minutes on foot. 6. Restaurant workers are reluctant to bring change. Bottom line: the hotel is definitely not worth 270$ per night, does not correspond to 4 stars. For this money you can look for something in the area of Kendwa or near the cafe MamaMia.

Staff here are pretty great, with a few annoying exceptions. If you ask for more than 2 eggs at the included breakfast, they'll tell you no, as per "management". We were also told to go to our rooms with fruit we bought locally and to not eat it at any tables or lounge area... ***? They also say theyll confiscate any alcohol you bring, and if they "find" any in your room it will be taken and only given back to you when you leave. There is no beach... its a rocky shoreline covered in weeds... no attempt to remove heavy weeds from shoreline/ walkways down to water. Not all rooms are in a "cottage" atmosphere... we were in more of an apartment building... The beautiful Nungwi Beach is a short walk down the road or shoreline (at low tide). Food at the restaraunt is poor quality overall and overpriced for what it is (the pizza is ok). Drinks are overpriced. Watch your bill at the end of your stay! Many discrepancies in our tab (and our friends tab) at the end of our stay (including charging us twice for one of our dinners). They will try charging you $2/day/pp as a surprise "city tax, or "resort fee" depending on who is at the counter (it's a bogus cash grab). Long story short, they initially demanded approximately $250 for our tab, and after removing bogus charges it was reduced to around $190. Too much nonsense for my liking. There were many accomodations along Nungwi Beach that I would seek to stay next time I visit Nungwi Beach.

We had a great stay for 3 nights in one of the big rooms in front of the sea, It was amazing to wake up with the sound of the waves every morning, drinking our tea on our small terrasse. The hotel is located in a very quite area, a few minutes by walk from the Nungwi beach. Margareth from the reception was very helpful and service minded.
