This hotel has the convenience of a newer and modern accommodation but the rooms keep a little bit of the traditional "ryokan" feel to them, which I found wonderful. Everything was super clean (spotless) and the staff was very very helpful. The view from my room was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.

There are few parking spaces near the hotel, and the lighting is dim, so you need to be careful when parking. The hotel's hardware facilities are old, the hot spring water quality is average, and the breakfast is average. If you don't book dinner, you need to solve it yourself, but parking at the hotel after dinner is another problem. Fortunately, there is a pizza phone in the room for delivery. Overall, I will not stay here again.

To get to the reception lobby, you first go up to the 5th floor to check in, then take a separate elevator to your room. The facilities are a little old-fashioned.
The location was easy to find, but the parking lot was hard to find. I stayed on a weekday, so it was fine, but if you stay on the weekend or during busy periods, you have to parallel park on a slope, which is inconvenient. I only stayed overnight, so I had a hard time finding a place to eat nearby.
I liked that there was a large public bath and that the rooms overlooked the Sea of Japan.

The website and reality are so far apart. I was looking forward to going there because it said there was a restaurant, but they said they didn't have room for dinner....I asked if there was a restaurant nearby and they said I had to go into town. I couldn't make a reservation because the restaurant was closed. They also explained that I had to pay in advance and I only heard about it after I'd paid...isn't that a scam?
