Great hotel. However, it is really hard to find. The sign over the door changed, and I could not find it on the amap/gaode. Trip's location also shows up weirdly.
If you choose this hotel, it is best to go close to the century old tea house and contact the owner with someone who speaks Chinese and English.
Otherwise, we had a great stay. The owner was nice but did not speak English. The location is amazing, close to all atractjons and in the heart of the old town.

Beautiful small hotel in the ancient city. Cosily decorated room. Room was on the ground floor right off the reception. Was a bit worried as there was a lot of noise from goings on outside as a lot of photo spots and cafes nearby, but all went quiet after about 11pm and could sleep well.

The happiest thing about Kashgar is that I stayed in the Warm Homestay. The homestay is located in the west city of the ancient city. I personally feel that it is more primitive and quiet than the east city. It is very close to my grandfather's grandfather's father's noodle shop. There are also cafes and bars frequented by young people nearby. We can drink and watch football together in the evening. The atmosphere is very good.
The lady boss of the B&B is super nice. She keeps the B&B very clean. She changed rooms for free and took me to the fabric market on an electric scooter. The glutinous rice noodles she recommended were super delicious! Although it is just a stopover during the trip, the proprietress treats tourists like friends. When they are free, they eat fruit and drink tea together in the living room of the B&B, and chat in the sun in the alley.
