Opened in 2022, the Gobi Desert Youth Hostel (Kashgar Ancient City Scenic Area) offers travelers a pleasant stay in Kashgar, whether for business or leisure purposes. Boasting a convenient location, the hotel is just 8km from Kashgar Railway Station and 10km from Kashi Laining International Airport. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the People's Square, Kashgar Kunlun Tower and The Former Russian Consulate in 1890 all nearby. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling alone.

Guests will smoke freely as they do their business in the toilet and do not cleanup their poop. Very annoyed to have to ”choose” the right cubicle. Cubicles are 2-in-1 toilet+shower and on the 1st floor where rooms are for men, women may also enter the toilet so it can become awkward. It's a relatively new building and hostel so I hope the local Chinese guests would stop ruining a good place

Super good! ! This is the best youth hostel I have ever stayed in so far! The various facilities should be newly opened and are very new and clean. The rooms are quite large and not too crowded, and the courtyard is beautifully decorated! The most important thing is that the location is very good. It is right on the edge of the ancient city between the east and west cities. It is very convenient to go anywhere! ! The only shortcoming is that the front desk does not feel very professional and the business is very unfamiliar, and it does not take the initiative to greet guests. Every time you enter and leave the hotel, you feel like you have broken into someone else's home🤦🏻♀️ I hope the staff can provide better reception Be more diligent~

It is very close to Old City and Goseong. You can get there by taking bus number 28. It is a pity that the toilet is an old-fashioned flush toilet. Other than that, everything is fine.

The Abandoned Youth Hostel is located near the ancient city and railway station of Kashgar, Xinjiang, China. Surrounding are villages with distinctive Uyghur ethnic life. The accommodation environment is clean and tidy, and the price is affordable.

Facilities: There are two facilities in the work area, one on the first floor and one on the third floor. I stayed there for five or six days. The small terrace upstairs shared meals with other guests in the store. It was very comfortable to eat skewers. Hygiene: You can see the cleaning staff cleaning up every day. There is no need to change the sheets and quilts in the youth hostel. The cleaning aunt has already changed them. Environment: It’s like a small courtyard in a Uighur home, very comfortable, and you can see the neighbor’s children outside the door Service: The store manager is really nice. He made me not lonely at all. He called me whenever there was any event. It was such a happy place. I planned to stay for two days but stayed for six days.

I really, really, really like this inn! I stayed in a 4-person room for girls. The lobby and rooms were decorated very attentively. The room was very clean. There were washing areas on every floor, which was super convenient! The location is right inside Khan Bazaar, the transportation is very convenient, it is easy to go anywhere!

A home-away-from-home in the far reaches of Kashgar. The property is tastefully and thoughtfully furnished, from the seating area for interaction, to the beds in the dorms with the curtains for privacy, a nightlight and an electrical outlet. I especially like that there's a rooftop with clotheslines and pegs for drying my clothes since I can't get together a full load to use the washing machine/ dryer. The homestay is located in a local village about 20 minutes walk from the Old Town. However, this being Kashgar, the village is a Uighur village and you can interact with the locals staying here. There are lots of small shops and an entire street of food just on the street outside. Ella, the owner of the homestay/hostel, has a great personality suited to hosting guests - she is warm, outgoing, and sincere and loves laughter. She's like the glue that brings her guests together to form a social circle, though she's fully appreciates some people may prefer their downtime and respects that. It's not the peak season for travelling at the moment but even then, it's been great fun staying here.
