The location is about a 30 minute walk south of the old city, which means you can pass through different neighbourhoods. There are also plenty of taxis that pass outside the hotel. The rooms are modern and comfortable. When I was there the weather was dusty and smoggy, so the view weren't as stunning as they could have been. The breakfast buffet had lots of choices and was hot and satisfying each time.

This was my first time staying here. The waiter brought us dried fruits, Sprite, and snacks, which was a bit of a surprise. On the day of check-out, the front desk guy Kurban also gave us two dragon dolls. The front desk lady also helped to call a taxi, which saved me the time of going outside the hotel to call a taxi. Due to the good stay experience when traveling in Kashgar a few days ago, after returning to Kashgar from the Pamir Plateau, the family strongly requested to refund the original hotel near the ancient city and still chose to stay at the Global Harbor Hotel. The hotel is very close to the ancient city, a ten-minute drive, and the fare is about ten yuan. The online taxi can be called in a few minutes, which is very convenient. The hotel room decoration is very high-quality, we like it. Opposite the hotel is Kashgar Water City, which is also good to visit. Special thanks to Manager Wu Huaying for providing excellent service during our family's stay, and Kashgar in southern Xinjiang left us with good memories. Recommended to stay.

A few other suggestions, I sincerely hope that the management of your hotel can see: First, this is the first time I see a so-called five-star hotel being so stingy with toilet paper. I don't know what happened in your management, but there is really no need to be stingy with toilet paper. Second, the lobby. There are two types of reception channels in your hotel, one for VIPs and the other for individual guests. Aren't individual guests VIPs? Third, there are only two bottles of drinking water in the room. If you want more water, you have to pay separately. The Global Harbor in your city defaults to six bottles. Fourth, the environment. Kashgar is very hot now. The air conditioner in the public area of ​​each floor can be turned on. Anyway, the corridor on the 27th floor where I live is too hot. Fifth, catering. Your breakfast is really bad. Don't compare it with other hotels, just compare it with the Global Harbor in your city. You are really terrible. There are many other complaints. Frankly speaking, this is the second worst so-called five-star hotel I have ever stayed in.

There are two bad things about the experience: 1. The quilt was dirty, but I asked the waiter to change it. I suggest you check it yourself next time. 2. The elevator buttons are not reasonable. The buttons for the first floor and the elevator switch are too low, which is inconvenient. Everything else is fine. The service attitude of the staff is very good.

I went out to play with my friends. I arrived at the big bed room in the morning and didn’t retreat. The front desk lady took the initiative to help us upgrade the room that we can stay in immediately. It’s pretty good, the room is big, and it’s close to the attractions.

We stayed two nights separated by one night in Tashkurgan.The best part of the first day was spent locating an agent to provide a car and driver to Tashkurgan. My wife and me were sent to the Kashgar Tourist centre beyond the airport to apply for a Border Travel Permit to Tashkurgan and astonished to find the place closed being Sunday 24th June. Staff at the reception were all friendly and enthusiastic. Only two lifts served both Orange and Mercure which were inadequate. Mercure provides free pick up and sent from anf to airport but requires 4 hours advance confirmation. We requested sent off to airport for 1005 flight to Chengu. Staff confirmed reservation for two leaving at 0800 which is too early for breakfast at hotel. So an arrangement was made for wake up call, picnic boxes to takeaway. On 26th morning, the short bald old man probably working as bell boy scolded me why I am alone at the lobby at 0752 and that there are other guests waiting in the car. Fully seated by 0755, we discovered that the rush was to pick up another passenger for the one remaining seat in the 7- seater! We had to travel west to Tianshan road, pick up the last passenger at Hanting Hotel before making east and north to Kashgar Airport. The experience totally spoilt my day, wiped out any good feeling or impression with Mercure and never mind about the promised packed breakfast boxes.

Great hotel in the city. Very clean and modern and located next to a new shopping mall with great access to restaurants and shops. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, in particular 小艾 who helped us on check in and was very attentive to our needs through the stay. Would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the city

The front desk service is very good. The room is average. The first day I lived in a deluxe family room, at 363, the sound insulation was very poor. The next day, I lived in the exclusive family room, at 258, next door is the gym and laundry room, which is convenient. But there is a problem with the toilet. People sit on it and flush automatically, but the water will get dirty pp (non-electric hip washing function), and there is a problem with the sewer pipe. Whether it is laundry in the laundry room or toilet flushing, the sewer pipe will squeak, which affects the rest. The sound insulation is still not good, but because it is an end room, there are not many people disturbing it.
