Overall, I am very satisfied. The service staff are very enthusiastic, but I am not very satisfied with the breakfast. I sometimes forget to serve the dishes in the morning. The Turkish coffee I ordered took a long time to come. I prefer the feeling of remembering the order. The burgers and turkey patties served at the restaurant for dinner were average in taste and average in price. The customer service staff and front desk are very dedicated, and of course we are happy to tip. The hotel is quite large, with very good facilities, complete with toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. We are willing to visit again and hope that the breakfast can be richer. Overall very satisfied, staff is very enthusiastic, but the breakfast is not very good. They forgotten to serve the main meal, and I ordered Turkish coffee wait quite a long time to come up, I prefer to remember my ordering. Dinner restaurant burger and Turkish meat ball, which taste personal feeling general, price not quality. The customer service staff and reception were very dedicated and we were certainly willing to tip. The hotel is quite large, the facilities are very nice, the wash kit, bathrobes and slippers are all well stocked and we would be happy to visit again, hopefully the breakfast will be a bit more extensive.

I wont repeat the observations made by other (1 star review) guests I should highlight the following:- >no hot water >mouldy walls and bathroom >peeling paint >faulty wiring that led to shocks >dangerous split level floors with no glass railings >a backbreaking sofa “bed” with a hump >very limited and slightly rancid breakfasts >dodgy payment arrangements relating to airport transfers and bill payments I should also not forget the totally non existent service and amazing ability to repeatedly ignore any request for anything. The owners sarcastic replies to any criticism levelled on TripAdvisor or other websites only confirms their disregard for guests (or guests who dare to complain). Advice? 1. Book elsewhere in Kas - Mandalina Luxury Suites down the road was much better with genuine on site owners. 2. Do NOT organise airport transfers or boat trips/excursions via the hotel. I paid a taxi driver (who asked for money despite the arrangement being to pay the concierge) and then I got shouted at by the concierge when I told him I had paid the driver. The concierge should have been there to meet me if he had wanted cash. SCAM alert and I refused to pay twice. 3. If you must book despite the recent health warnings pay by credit card or else you will have no chance of getting any money back. I received what amounted to ~25% refund via my bank (not enough), the process was painful and the hotel wont cooperate. Be warned! Kas remains very beautiful as a destination but has sadly become a bit of tourist trap and sadly gets struck off the holiday list for 2024 and beyond.

This hotel located in very special place on a beautiful peninsula 10 min drive from Kas center. We had very mixed filings after staying here. Rooms, villas, pool, landscaping and garden very well designed and it’s pleasant to be there. The major disappointment we’ve experienced is the hotel employees. There seems to be lack of training or they just don’t care. Construction dust from recent renovation all over the room, the door lock in the toilet was ripped off and missing so there is a huge hole and the door couldn’t be locked. Asked room cleaning and toilet door to be fixed and was ignored. Breakfast was very mediocre. Beautiful amenities, inadequate service.

What an amazing and beautiful spot! The cocktails are amazing, the views are fantastic and the service is 5***** we had an amazing lunch and visit to the sun beds and it was perfect - thank you for such a beautiful visit!

On August 13th I came to the hotel Deniz Feneri Lighthouse, to which I made a reservation several month ago. But when I arrived I was told that hotel is overbooked and my room was given to someone else. And I was offered different room, in nearby hotel instead, but was assured its going to be similar to the room I booked in the first place. I was told that this new hotel “Renaissance Blue” is also belongs to them. It was 5 min away with their golf cart. When my family and I arrived to this new property, we found out that offered room didn’t have an ocean view, for which we paid in the first place. When we complained about it, we were promised our initial room/villa in 4days only, since it was already occupied by someone else. So we agreed. After 4 days we were we brought back to “Light House”. Guess what?! We saw around 8 to 10 other families complaining about EXACTLY the same thing!!! OVERBOOKED! And management offering people their “new hotel” which is up the hill with NO OCEAN VIEW or OCEAN ACCESS. Surprise surprise! Yet again we were placed in different room. Not the one we paid for in first place. 1. NO HOT WATER. 2. TV DIDN’T work . (When I called lobby, they sent someone, after 3 hours. Their specialist came checked cables and said that he can’t do anything about it right now, and that we have to wait) 3. Walls in living room had MOLD!!!! (See attached pictures) 4. Some light fixtures didn’t work. 5. Furniture is discussing, sofa and chairs had stains all over it. 6. Room had a tiny baby pool. We reserved a normal size pool (extra $) 7. They refuse to take Amex. That is only payment method I had. I offered them to pay online thought ********** or Expedia.com but was told thats impossible. 8. The bill we were presented didn’t reflect any discount for the inconvenience and lack of ocean view. 9. When I offered to make a new reservation to a different hotel since managment weren’t helpful we were told thats not possible since we made a reservation through ********** PICTURES that they have online for “LightHouse” or in Turkish “Deniz Feneri” have NOTHING TO DO WITH REALITY. Property is old and in a very bad shape. Im gonna attach pictures, decide for yourself. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY and don’t let them ruin your vacation like they did ours.

Perfect get away; I wish I spent more time there. I loved the overall atmosphere and location. The area is very peacfull and the stone houses are very stylish. It was all what I needed for a short escape. I will be back! Highly recommended!

The location (although a bit isolated, nothing can be reached by foot) and architecture of the hotel are great but the service is almost non existent . Such a pity and absolutely not worth the price. We stayed there for 4 nights and wish we would have stayed in a better maintained and managed hotel in the same area (we’ve heard great things about Barbarossa in the same price range / category, or Sol’n Blu which is way less expensive). Room cleaning is disastrous (our feet were covered with black dust after walking a few steps in the room, coffee cups we used one day were left dirty on the next day, on our last day there were simply no towels in the bathroom and we were told the hotel was short of them - only after we called the reception twice they sent towels from their sister hotel Radisson). The overpriced restaurant (with great sea views) served my grilled fish after 1 hour. Staff hardly speaks English. Even « sparkling water » is impossible to get without an online translator. This would of course be ok if this wasn’t marketed and priced as an international luxury hotel. When we checked in we found a gift card in the room for a spa package (peeling, massage, face mask) which my husband booked and was actually false advertising (he only got a massage, which was average). One of the reasons why I chose this hotel was the fact that they mentioned yoga on the website. I wrote an email ahead of my trip which remained unanswered and inquired about yoga class upon arrival, only to be told there was a yoga room but no class. Last but not least, the private beach didn’t have any sunbeds available for us (2 adults + baby) probably because it also welcomes customers from the Radisson and outside of the hotel. Lots of sunbeds were empty with only a towel on them so they might have actually been available but the staff is so overwhelmed and helpless they didn’t bother to check. We wanted to have lunch and see if sunbeds would be available later but then the staff told us the restaurant only served frozen food. ‍♀️ We were so enthusiastic when we first arrived as the place looks stunning but after 24h of bad experiences one after the other we just fled the place and only used it to sleep and eat breakfast. Check out edit/ On top of it all, my night dress disappeared on the last day (must have been taken by the poorly trained cleaning team when they changed the bedsheets) which I notified reception about the night before we checked out in order to get it the next morning. The reception team after Night Shift didn’t know anything about it and I just didn’t get my dress back. It was worth more than what we owed so I said I would pay our bill after my dress was sent home. The restaurant manager arrived (as the hotel manager was absent), hold our taxi and threatened to call the police - as if we were in fault. Simply the worst hotel in the world.

As you can see from my title , I’ve heavily caveated this review as I want to be as fair as possible. The good - 1. the views are just amazing. The grounds are really stunning and quite well maintained. The hotel looks breathtaking upon arrival. It’s really got that wow factor. Though Kas in itself is quite a stunning town. 2. The staff. I will use this opportunity to commend the hotel staff for their friendliness and willingness to help. Not many speak the best English so communication was a little hard at times, - most especially when we had problems with our rooms - however, the staff tried their best to communicate and we cannot knock them for that. The hotel can do with having a few more people who speak better English. That’s really on the management and owners. The not so good - 1. The state of the older rooms. We stayed in their premium rooms - deluxe with private pool. As soon as arrived we noticed an ominous damp patch on the wall. We woke up on night to our room being flooded. They moved us and comped our nights stay but honestly. It was a very stressful experience trying to lodge a complaint. As our laptop happened to be on the floor and get damaged by the water. There is a strong sense that no one is in control at this establishment. The terrible - The breakfast. If you are used to a filling, breakfast offering , please do not stay here. You will be left extremely unsatisfied in the mornings. It was as if they were rationing the eggs and protein. One day I requested for boiled eggs and I was given one egg. Literally one. And no other protein. It was obvious that they were cutting costs be removing their breakfast buffet. It was unfortunate. The lack of communication and general lack of clear leadership. It’s glaringly obvious that this establishment is going through a change of management and is in some sort of leadership crisis. I would not recommend that anyone stays here pending the comprehensive handover to the new owners.

A visit to Kas is not complete without going to The Lighthouse! Stunning views, fantastic service, great swim spot in the sea and the staff are so friendly. Mehmet Baydemir made our day with his beautiful smile, fantastic service and good vibes all round
