Arkasa Bay offered more comfort, more space and more of a welcome in comparison with most other Greek island hotels that we have stayed at. We see this reflected in reviews by other guests as well. Breakfasts were tailored to people's requests. Rooms were cleaned every day. The hotel is small enough that it feels homely. You often see cats roaming around the terrace but they tend to shy away from guests and are fed discretely out of view. The nearest sandy beach is 10 minutes away, where you can enjoy a lunch or drinks at the nearby Glaros restaurant. For evening meals, we had the choice of several affordable restaurants close by, with Kipos being the best in our opinion. The only downside to Arkasa seemed to be impractical bus timetables if you didn't own a car. An excursion to Olympos is highly recommended.

At this hotel everything is 5-star. But especially the kindness of the familiy who runs the hotel is extraordinary. Fotini and Iannis run the hotel with the helping hands of their son and parents. The athmosphere is very relaxed. From the breakfast which is being served at your table, to the pool which is very refreshing after a long day at the beach, and a cool drink of small bite at the poolbar. The owner will make sure that everything is ok, and when there is something not ok, thank they make it ok. Thank you Fotini, thank you Iannis for this relaxing holiday!

“A hidden gem” - I’m very used to big international hotels through my business trips that’s probably also why I really appreciated my stay at Arkasa bay hotel that is so much more than an ordinary hotel. Very nice people running the place and you feel like at home. Breakfast is excellent and if you like to make your own dinner in the apartment/room or just buy a drink at the pool it’s all there. Looking forward to come back!

This is my second time here and not the last time. The hotel is family run and all family members are VERY friendly and incredibly helpful. The rooms are very clean and the small but very well-kept pool area is cleaned thoroughly every day. You get great tips for trips if you ask for them. So the two are far away from "obtrusive". The fitness room offers good equipment for a little workout and even in midsummer, the air conditioning is bearable. The breakfast is prepared with a lot of love and you can choose between many variations every day. When my “e-cigarette” broke at breakfast in the first week, I got the spare part I needed from Jannis (I hope it’s spelled that way), from his private property. Phew holiday saved. Also when we talked about mosquitoes and the lack of protection, through our own fault, we got a very useful mosquito plug! So we would give more stars if possible. Top hotel with a great location and MEGA hotel management.

Zijn voor de vierde keer hier geweest. Het bevalt ons iedere keer weer prima. Kort bij Arkasa met ruime keuzes uit restaurants en bars. dicht bij het mooie zandstrand op loopafstand . Arkasa Bay is geweldig mede dankzij de lieve eigenaren Gianni's en Fortini. Het ontbijt is perfect. Aan de poolbar kun je ook allerlei lekkers bestellen . De appartementen zij fris en schoon .Een fantastisch zwembad wat netjes onderhouden wordt. Kortom Arkasa Bay is een prima uitvalbasis om Karpathos te verkennen. Zeer tevreden mensen uit Brummen.( janmanda).

Ik ben hier samen met mijn vriendin geweest. Hotel is heerlijk rustig! Ligging is rustig. Ligt in een zijstraat van de hoofdweg. Geen hotel voor als je slecht ter been bent. Restaurants zijn een redelijk stuk lopen met flinke trappen of heuvel op heuvel af. Binnenkomst was heel gemoedelijk. Kleinschalig hotel. werden direct naar onze kamer begeleid. Het enige wat eigenlijk ontbreekt is een informatieblad. Met ontbijttijd/ wifi code etc etc. Kamer zag er keurig uit en werd ook dagelijks schoongemaakt. Zelfs je vuile glas werd voor je afgewassen. Hier hebben wij de schoonmaakster dan ook een goede fooi voor gegeven. Elke dag een goed uur bezig met je kamer echt brandschoon te maken. Het ontbijt was voldoende. Weinig variatie maar dat komt wellicht ook door het a-la-carte ontbijt. Je kreeg een mandje met wat sneedjes brood. Kon je ei op 4 manieren laten bereiden, een tosti of een schaal yoghurt bestellen. Personeel/ eigenaren zelf waren erg vriendelijk en wisten veel over de omgeving te vertellen. Heerlijke vakantie gehad, maar in het plaatsje en op het eiland zelf is eigenlijk niks te beleven. Leuk voor 1 keer, maar wij misten toch iets van een boulevardje of iets.

Gezellig complex, zwembad, sommige kamers zee zicht andere kijken uit op het zwembad. Zeer schoon, elke dag schoonmaak, nieuwe handdoeken. Bar heeft tevens kleine maaltijden. Loopafstand van Agios Nikolaos, even zoeken naar de kortste weg ! (is langs de zee, via het kapelletje).

Heerlijk ruim en schoon appartement. Centraal gelegen in Arkassa vlakbij het strand en restaurants. Ontzettend vriendelijke mensen en een fenomenaal ontbijt. Keuzestress wat vandaag te kiezen voor het ontbijt. Kortweg een aanrader!
