To many people. The pools are overcrowded. Everything cost extra. A lot of cars driving fast all day. The staff is not helpful at all. Too expensive. Too much noise all day and late in the evening. We stayed for 5 nights. 4 nights too long. Avoid this place.

Don't go here if you wish to sleep before midnight. This review is being written past midnight with children crying from exhaustion as a concert kept them awake until the fireworks took over. This is not a place for people who need to sleep earlier than midnight, or whenever they might close down for tonight.

Lovely camping park. Large, with a lot of pitches but doesn't feel too busy. Piches mostly under mature trees. Nice rocky beaches with lots of work to make them more accessible. Easy to get a shaded spot near the beach. Good pools with stuff for all ages. So-so restaurants, food is fine if not spectacular. Bars dotted around the the site. Lots for kids to do. Major downside are the shops which are outrageously expensive. This would be a five star review otherwise. You expect a bit of a mark up with a captive clientele but I've not seen such a big mark up as this. Shopping in Waitrose in central London is cheaper. There is a Lidl in Umag itself, so drive to that and avoid the on site shops.

Stayed in Eurocamp mobile home which was fine, clean and had everything we needed - not far from the beach bar but somewhat on the edge of the park - although still within walking distance to all the facilities, which were great. Beautiful park, fabulous pools and beaches!

A party - second night in a row - in the neighbouring town is keeping us awake all night. Unacceptable at these ridiculously high volumes. This review is being written at 02h40 at night. Do not come to Camping Park Umag, better to pitch a tent in the parking lot of a nightclub of your choosing - you will get the same experience.

Please consider this campaign spot an ekstra time, since it's for sure not a high class spot. We where visiting July week 29 with autocamper + tent. On the first day I needed to share my thoughts. First of all the spot is far away from how pictures are looking and quite small with rocks. We booked with ekstra tent on the spot for the kids, but almost no space for the tent. Next issue we faced was the toilet was really disgusting and filthy.. Not clean at all. Some doors to the toilet cant be locked and one was missing toilet seat. 1 days in the vacation we wanted to visit the pool area and that was fine. But then we was asked to pay for the sunbeds and umbrella 3 eur for sunbed and 2,5 for umbrella. This is per day per person... We was 6 so 1 week can soon be expensive. Not really ok. They guy blamed the transistion from Croatian money to eur. Just and ekstra excuse to make money in my opinion. So pay attention to all the ekstra they try to get out of you when you visit the place.

We rented a mobile home of vacance soleil. All the mobile homes and campsites are very close together. There is barely any privacy and this goed for the entire ground. The organization clearly has one goal which is profit. Even lying chairs at the pool will be have to be paid extra for. The campsite looks very nice at first until you realize how overcrowded it is. Besides it being overpriced. Prices at the campsite supermarket are double what you pay in a regular supermarket. All the food on the campground is overpriced and of very low quality. During the day it’s almost unsafe to have young children walking around, due to the amount of cars, electric scooters, electric motors bikes and other vehicles driving around. I wouldn’t recommend this campground if you are looking for time to relax with a young family.

Excellent camp site with plenty of greenery and trees. We had a front row mobile home with a loveley uninterrupted view of the Adria. 2 swimmings pools. Layout of the site excellent. Plenty of space between the homes and campers. Doctor on site. The weather was bad during our first 9 days, raining day and night and very cold we had to put the heating on:-( nevertheless we tried to make the best of what we had. Last 10 days was sunshine :-). We have booked for 2024!!

Travelling in a T5 Transporter with awning - 2 adults 3 kids (10 - 14). 30 min check in, even though checked in online prior to arrival... Security staff in reception entrance extremely rude with no interpersonal skills... (the fact they need security tells you a little bit about the campsite).. pitch ok, different neighbours might have made it slightly better - not fans of Team GB during my stay anyway (3 mutterings of hi all week...)... even though I believe I'm polite and we where all shut up up 10pm.. the Foghorn from Germany across the way had no noise appreciation anyway. Toilets and showers where immaculate, though the staff worked hard to keep it that way.. some campers are absolute trollops that cannot clean up after themselves... Queuing is not a thing in Europe (rather Germany) as I was made to wait a slight bit longer in just about everything I queued for at the expense of holiday makers from Germany, even with my expression of displeasure well vocalised..... we are good and well drilled at being patient in the UK. This is a very Germany orientated campsite.. with the remainder made up of dutch, polish and Italians... we seemed to be the only British during our 4 day stay. The supermarket on the park is decent enough for basic provisions, and the pool bars, restaurants and street food area are actually quite good. However cash is a must so bring Euros or face getting ripped off by the Euronet ATMs on the campsite. The only place that takes card is the Supermarket. The sea is crystal clear and has an abundance of marinelife to look at. Water shoes are a must as the rocks are slippy and quite sharp but once in to swim height, you will enjoy the warm albeit a bit salty water and the marine life below - the jelly fish are non dangerous but come and go with the current. Checkout was even longer (42mins) with an extremely rude and short tempered non English speaking security guard, waving and shouting in German at people in the queue then when not understanding him losing his temper more a little like a highly experienced Sergeant Major... "keep shouting sir, they'll soon understand"... Overall this is a large campsite designed to cater for the mass influx of european holiday makers. Think Butlins on steroids in the UK.. we reckoned in excess of 4000 people during our stay which made everything for the staff stressful and super busy. I suppose it was the height of the summer holidays so was absolutely cashing in after a few turbulent years of travel... Sadly we won't be returning anytime soon, instead we may venture further south for a slightly more laid back and relaxing experience.... Currently in Slovenia and it's amazing.. Camping Mozirje to be exact and it is stunning...
