My stay in 2025 was terrible. The camper pitch was bad—blocked by a tree and lamp, so I couldn’t park. I asked reception for help, but they gave me three worse pitches. Stayed on the original one disputing the fact that was close to a noisy road, loud all day and night. No hot water in our facility area the whole time. When I told it to reception staff, they said go to another place for hot water. Imagine carrying dishes and shower things far away! Staff were rude and ignored me. My son got hurt on the football field. A ball hit his head, and his eye was bloody. It was evening, so we went to a hospital near hospital in Izola (Slovenia not Croatia – you will need to pay if the accident happened in Croatia). We stayed there all night and paid €900. I talked to the manager, Thomas, to at least get a refund for that day since we spend it in the hospital. He didn’t care and told me to find the boy who kicked the ball. He also didn’t care about no hot water or noisy road. He smiled and said write a bad review. Staff were stressed and no help. This place is expensive, noisy, and not safe. I tell everyone: don’t go! Even if free, I won’t go back. Lucky we had other places to stay on our trip. I don’t recommend Camping Park Umag at all!

When my brother and I booked a month ago, we asked to be next to each other (family reunion). When I arrived two days ago, they told me no problem. Today, when my brother arrived, we were 1 km apart, and reception offered no solution, even though several spaces were available around us. I don't understand, no apologies and no solutions. otherwise the campsite is huge and offers several activities

Our car was seriously damaged because the only way to access the pitch was to drive over a nearly 10 cm curb. Staff insisted we had to park inside, leaving no other option. When we reported it, management ignored all evidence and refused responsibility. This place only cares about your money – not about guests or their safety.

Huge site but lovely location. We had a premium plus mobile home so shared a pool with 6 other homes. We thought it worth the upgrade and the mobile home was new, clean and well equipped. Everywhere kept very clean. We liked the beach bar but the one restaurant we went to on site was very expensive and service was so slow. We preferred cooking ourselves or nipping off site and found a nice pizza place about 20 minutes walk. The main laundry faculties were out of action for the whole week but we drove 20 minutes to the Speed Queen laundrette.

At night time strolling all we did was dodge ev scooters no respect for people walking there must be 2 scooters per pitch total pain in the backside if they kept to the road but they are everywhere,no lights no bell a accident waiting to happen. It’s a down side to a good family site

So many close contacts had recommended a Eurocamp hol as we were looking for fun with our 9 and 11 year old’s. We combined this with our wang to go to Croatia and picked Umag. We thought we were arriving at somewhere ran by Eurocamp since our entire booking experience has been via them and there was no sign that the site would be managed by someone else. When we arrived we were told by very inexperienced reception that the Eurocamp office shut at 8 and told - coldly - to ‘ring this number’ They couldn’t answer our questions about prebooked services and got what was clearly a ‘we don’t work for Eurocamp’ stock answer. There’s an app with all the entertainment schedule on apparently but we weren’t given access - presumably because we booked via Eurocamp. The camp is huge and while we’ve been here 2 days we’re yet to find the advertised sandy beach - we’ll try again today. The staff we’ve spoken to so far have been belligerent. We went to the pool bar nearest our lodge on day 1 and more or less ‘shooed’ to the till when we enquired where we were to order - after waiting around. ..and that experience has continued at every food or drink venue - aside from the pizza place at Istria Market where the attendant was friendly. The photos of our lodge that we saw pre-arrival clearly have an oven and say ‘fully stocked kitchen’. We arrived to no oven, no grill or toaster - so the only cooking ability is stove and micro. Not ideal with two young children - we can’t even make toast. Aside from the pool area which is clean and the kids have loved that - so far we’ve not seen or come across children’s entertainment. We’ll try and find the Eurocamp staff today to see if we’re missing anything but it doesn’t bode well. We expected so much more - we’ll atleast some courtesy, a warm welcome and clear instructions for where to find activities…oh and also not to be mislead that this is a Eurocamp managed park with plenty of accessible and suitable family facilities. If we were instructed of this - it’s buried somewhere in tiny print. If things pick up I shall review but so far there’s been enough poor treatment to really mar our time here - very frustrating when you’ve saved all year for an annual holiday. Not acceptable at all.

Beautiful beach is the only positive I can give for Camp Umag. The staff were extremely rude and unfriendly mostly notable at the main pool bar down near the beach were staff shouted at my children because they arrived at the outdoor ice cream bar after swimming! Main sea front restaurant on the main stretch we found a hair in my mother's meal and were given under cooked chips for my children which they refused to change. Again over priced menu! Accommodation was very poor with curtains hanging off the windows and decking outside area not maintained. The staff at reception and around the campsite were unhelpful with my elderly mother who would have seen us struggle. Supermarket is so expensive although staff are nice there I am sure they are delighted with their profit margin. We met a really nice tour guide and ended up doing boat trips away from Camp Umag most days to avoid our dreary accommodation and rude staff. The tour guide was so kind and informative and showed us the real side of Croatia which is a beautiful country. It is a real shame for such a beautiful location and venue to have this ethos. It means nothing if you cannot be treated with respect and dignity we generally had the feel we were not wanted there. I did post to the manager when we arrived at Camp Umag and was advised because we booked through another provider we were not his responsibility. I could have forgiven the rude service, bad food, poor accommodation but the lack of care to my elderly disabled mother and behaviour towards my children is just not acceptable. I am just back from my so called dream holiday and took 2 days annual leave from work to recover! I have travelled extensively throughout the world and have never come across such a disappointing venture. By the way don't bother getting ketchup for your chips a sachet of sauce is €1.20. I really would hate for another family to experience what we did. Thanks Camp Umag

We haven’t even arrived yet, but we already feel incredibly well taken care of by the team at Camping Park Umag. Due to a mistake, we originally booked for the wrong dates. When we contacted the campsite directly, we received outstanding support — especially from Milijana, who handled our situation with professionalism, kindness, and great flexibility. She helped us rebook and allowed us to transfer the original payment toward the correct dates. This kind of understanding is rare and truly appreciated. We’re now very much looking forward to our holiday in July, and we’re already confident that we chose the right place. Christopher on behalf of Sarah and Caspar

To many people. The pools are overcrowded. Everything cost extra. A lot of cars driving fast all day. The staff is not helpful at all. Too expensive. Too much noise all day and late in the evening. We stayed for 5 nights. 4 nights too long. Avoid this place.
