With our Safari tour we arrived around 4 pm. The staff is very friendly and the food is nice. Unfortunately the room smelled, was not clean and at night there was a lot of noice. The rooms aren’t isolated properly so you could hear the people from the kitchen above us (We slept on the 3rd floor and the restaurant is at the 4th floor). We wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all.

Great hotel to stay overnight duribg Safari trip. Rooms are big and clean, beds are comfortable, tasty food, staff was very helpful. Kids were very happy with the nice swimming pool. I recommend rooms on pool side of the hotel because it is more quiet.

A great place to stay while on safari. The staff were kind and friendly and we received a delicious welcome drink. In addition to having clean, well-appointed rooms, serving delicious food, and being in close proximity to Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara, the service here was incomparable. Everyone on the staff was so friendly and gracious. Exceeded expectations, and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling through Karatu for their safari adventure.

When we first arrived we were very warmly welcomed by the staff who gathered up our bags and provided us with a welcoming juice before taking our bags upstairs. We were shown to our room and the decorated bed was a true work of art. The hotel lives up to it's name with an amazing view from the bedrooms and the top floor dining room. Free Wi-Fi was available in the rooms and dining room. Staff were very attentive and food was amazing during the three nights that we spent. Problems are attended to promptly, in our case a new bathroom light fitting was installed the day after we reported it broken. Omega Hotel is a very convenient base for trips to Serengeti NP, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara NP and surrounds. Thankyou very much to manager Emanuel, Jakob, Yohani our personal valet and Vero and Virigi the talented artists who decorated our beds.

The Omega is simply the best hotel in Karatu. The level of service is special. The staff will help with any request. The cleanliness of the room and restaurant, the friendly greetings everyday. Pascal and Dao in the restaurant are such caring people. The butler’s and chefs excellent. The reception team are on hand anytime and very professional. I highly recommend the Omega hotel when you need accommodation in Karatu .

As our personal experience we were satisfied with all their services, from food to cleanliness to giving respect to us + the welcoming was just wonderfully handled. We stayed for 2 days but we had a wonderful and relaxing trip + this hotel made our stay more comfortable, We had a small problem with there lift during our visit but that was all because I had elders with me, otherwise I did like to visit next time and ofcourse recommend anyone for this hotel. I did like to thank the always smiling staffs. From the reception, to cleaning, to the lobby and ofcourse the manager too keep doing the hard work.

I 💯 recommend this hotel. The location is walking distance to everything and the view is amazing. The rooms are comfortable and the service couldn’t be better - there was always someone available to help with luggage or food or anything we needed. The food is a great mix of African and American so everyone gets what they want. I would definitely stay here again!
